Junpei Mizusaki, the producer of the opening animation sequences for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, as well as the director of the original Batman Ninja, will return to direct the film at studio Kamikaze Douga, with co-direction by Shinji Takagi, a screenplay by Kazuki Nakashima (Promare), character designs by Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai) and music by Yugo Kanno (Psycho-pass). Koichi Yamadera (Cowboy Bebop) will also return to voice the Caped Crusader for the film’s Japanese release.
The original Batman Ninja found Batman traveling back in time to Japan’s Warring States period and battling villains, including The Joker and other rogues, who have become feudal lords.
