“Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-ray Now Available From Warner Archive

Starting today, Warner Archive’s new Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray title is now available to own directly from the label’s website and other digital outlets. The two-disc Blu-ray set, priced at $24.95US, features the complete 26-episode run of the fan-beloved animated series. This is the first Blu-ray release for the acclaimed Green Lantern: The Animated Series show, which is also currently available on DVD via retail and online outlets. With stunning, stylized CG animation, Green Lantern: The Animated Series takes viewers on a journey of cosmic proportions as Hal Jordan and his band of heroes fight to save the universe.

This is the latest Blu-ray animated release from Warner Archive, part of the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment studio, with previous releases including Batman: The Brave and The Bold – The Complete First Season and Beware The Batman: Season One, Part One – Shadows of Gotham. Warner Archive Announces “Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-ray

Warner Archive, part of the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment studio, has officially announced the Blu-ray release of Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series. The two-disc Blu-ray set will be available to purchase through the official Warner Archive website, along with some online retail outlets, as of March 18th, 2014 for $29.95. While currently available on DVD, this is the first Blu-ray release for the acclaimed Green Lantern: The Animated Series show. With stunning, stylized CG animation, this fan-beloved series takes viewers on a journey of cosmic proportions as Hal Jordan and his band of heroes fight to save the universe. Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series is Warner Bros. Animation’s latest take on the intergalactic missions of Hal Jordan and his comrades in the Green Lantern Corps. Beautifully rendered on a breathtaking scale, Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series is Warner Bros. Animation’s first completely CG-animated series.

New “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” Trade Paperback Comic Collection Now Available

A new trade paperback collection, featuring the six issues of the late Green Lantern: The Animated Series comic title, is now available to own from DC Comics.

The Green Lantern: The Animated Series – Volume Two collection, featuring issues # 6 – 11, includes stories written by Art Baltazar, Franco, Cecil Castellucci, and Ivan Cohen with artwork by Dario Brizuela and Luciano Vecchio. The Green Lantern: The Animated Series comic title features stories which take place in the continuity of the fan-favorite acclaimed animated series of the same name. Both the animated series and spin-off comic title came to an end last year. Details For December 2013 Issue Of “Beware The Batman” And “Teen Titans Go!” Comics, Additional Collection Details

DC Comics has officially announced details for the December 2013 issue of Beware The Batman, the new monthly comic series. The comic title is based on the new Cartoon Network animated series of the same name. Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. The comic book will feature rotating artists and writers providing stories based on the continuity of the new DC Nation CG-animated cartoon. Continue below for further details.

BEWARE THE BATMAN #3

Continuing, the comic book-based comedy adventure series Teen Titans Go! – a ratings hit for Cartoon Network and based on the beloved DC Comics property – is set to get a new comic book-spin-off title starting December 2013. The bi-monthly comic book title, also called Teen Titans Go!, will collect two 10-page stories per issue.
