Ratings For “Beware The Batman” July 2013 Episode Airings On Cartoon Network

Beware The Batman saw consistent, though average, ratings for its debut month as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network. The new CG-animated series, based on the popular DC Comics character, premiered at 10:00am (ET) on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 on the popular animation network. The DC Nation block airs at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Saturday mornings on Cartoon Network, with re-airings the following Sunday. Turner Broadcasting released preliminary ratings data for the month of July 2013 for a bevy of Turner-owned networks, including Cartoon Network, with additional content from Nielsen Media Research.

The July 13th, 2013 10:00am (ET/PT) series debut of Beware The Batman, titled “Hunted,” drew in 1.34 million viewers, from an estimated 900,000 households. The second Beware The Batman episode “Secrets,” which debuted July 20th, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, pulled in 1.12 million viewers from an estimated 800,000 households for the Saturday premiere. Lastly, the third Beware The Batman episode “Tests,” which first aired Saturday, July 27th, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network’s DC Nation programming block, pulled in 1.2 million viewers from an estimated 700,000 households. For the month of July 2013, Beware The Batman averaged ratings of 1.22 million for Saturday premieres, and 870,000 viewers for Sunday encore presentations.

The first three Beware The Batman episodes are below the average DC Nation ratings pull as established by it’s 10:00am (ET/PT) timeslot predecessor Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

“Teen Titans Go!” Scores Hits High Ratings In Series Debut

Cartoon Network provided the following press details concerning the performance of the series debut of Teen Titans Go!, which aired on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 on Cartoon Network. The half-hour animated series – which features two 11-minute tales – airs new episodes Tuesdays at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing during the DC Nation programming block Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT). The debut of Warner Bros. Animation’s new animated comedy-action series Teen Titans Go! on Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30/6:30c on Cartoon Network packed a ratings punch, ranking as the #1 kids program of the day on basic cable among Boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and Male Teens.

It also ranked #1 in its time period among Kids 2-11 & 6-11 as well as Boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and Male Teens, outpacing its timeslot competition on Nickelodeon and DisneyXD by double- and triple-digits among the show’s key demos of Kids 6-11 and Boys 6-11.

Teen Titans Go! delivered a 5.0 rating among its key demo of Boys 6–11 and more than two million Total Viewers

-Among Boys 6–11, the 5.0 rating for Teen Titans Go! improved Cartoon Network’s performance in the time period by +117% versus last week (2.3 rating for The Amazing World of Gumball).

-Also among Boys 6–11, Teen Titans Go! grew from its lead-in by +35% (3.7 rating for Johnny Test)

“Young Justice” Finale Top-Rated Cartoon Network Show, “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” Cracks Top Five

Both Young Justice: Invasion and Green Lantern: The Animated Series saw an increase in ratings as both celebrated animated series aired their respective finales on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network. The block airs at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Saturday mornings, with re-airings the following Sunday. Turner Broadcasting released preliminary ratings data for the week of March 11th – 17th, 2013 for a bevy of Turner-owned networks, including Cartoon Network.

The Young Justice: Invasion series finale episode “Endgame” was the top-rated show for Cartoon Network for the week of March 11th – 17th, 2013, beating out other network stalwarts such as Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Dragons: Riders of Berk. The episode also beat a Sunday prime-time showing of the movie Dairy of a Wimpy Kid. The March 16th, 2013 Saturday, 10:30am (ET/PT) timeslot for the Young Justice: Invasion episode “Endgame” brought in an estimated 2.05 million viewers from an estimated 1.3 million households. The 10:30am (ET/PT) Sunday re-airing of “Endgame” on March 17th, 2013 brought in an additional 1.1 million viewers from 900,000 households. Young Justice: Invasion averaged an audience of 1.9 million viewers every Saturday since returning to Cartoon Network with new episodes in January 2013.

The finale episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series “Dark Matter,” which aired Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT), brought in an estimated 1.82 million viewers from 1.2 million households. The finale Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode beat out airings of Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Ben 10: Omniverse. The 10:00am (ET/PT) Sunday re-airing of “Dark Matter” on March 17th, 2013 brought in an additional 1.21 million viewers from 800,000 households. Green Lantern: The Animated Series averaged an audience of 1.7 million viewers every Saturday since returning to Cartoon Network with new episodes in January 2013.

Combining overall weekend performance, both Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice: Invasion pulled in three million viewers over the two airings of their respective finale episodes. While both airings were not the highest-rated outings for both series, the finale airings saw a notable uptick from the previous weeks’ airing.

“Green Lantern: The Animated Series,” ” Young Justice: Invasion” Cartoon Network Ratings Update

Both Young Justice: Invasion and Green Lantern: The Animated Series brought in viewers to the January 5th, 2013 return of the DC Nation programming block. While specific numbers are currently not available, details provided by Turner Broadcasting System stated both DC Comics-based cartoons brought in viewers to the Saturday 10am (ET/PT) DC Nation programming block. Below are official details provided by the company.

Across the first week of January 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television’s #1 network for Total Day delivery of boys 6-11, & 9-14, and #1 in Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 9-14. Scoring double-digit delivery gains compared the same week in 2012, Total Day delivery of kids 2-11 grew by 20%, kids 6-11 by 33% and kids 9-14 by 33%.

Ranking #1 for boys 6-11 & 9-14 vs. all other networks on Monday, Thursday and Friday Night (7-9 p.m.), Cartoon Network’s Friday night programming line-up grew target kids/boys demos by double digits across the board, ranging between 19% and 96% vs. the same week last year.

Saturday Morning (7-11 a.m.) animated action-adventure programming was up double digits across all key kids and boys vs. last year, ranging between 12% and 36%. Premiere episodes of original series Ben 10: Omniverse (9 a.m.), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (9:30 a.m.), Green Lantern (10 a.m.) and Young Justice: Invasion (10:30 a.m.) grew by double and triple digits across kids/boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, ranging between 33% and 119%.

“Young Justice,” “Batman: The Brave And The Bold” Cartoon Network Ratings Update

An all-new episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold and a rerun of Young Justice brought in solid ratings for Cartoon Network on Friday, April 22nd, 2011, according to data released by Nielsen Media Research and Turner Broadcasting System. New episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold have been airing in the latest timeslot for the animated series, Fridays at 6:30pm (ET) on Cartoon Network, while Young Justice is currently working through reruns in its regular 7:00pm (ET) timeslot Fridays on Cartoon Network.

Batman: The Brave and The Bold “Shadow of the Bat!”
-Friday, April 22nd, 2011 at 6:30pm on Cartoon Network.
-1.1 Households – An estimated 1.1% of America TV households watched this program.
-Viewers: 1.866 million – 400,000 million estimated in the adults 18-49 demographic, 1.2 million estimated in the teens 12-17 demographic, and 210,000 estimated in the kids 2-11 demographic.

Young Justice “Schooled”
-Friday, April 22nd, 2011 at 7:00pm on Cartoon Network.
-1.1 Households – An estimated 1.1% of America TV households watched this program.
-Viewers: 1.782 million – 400,000 estimated in the adults 18-49 demographic, 1.0 million estimated in the teens 12-17 demographic, and 180,00 estimated in the kids 2-11 demographic.

Batman: The Brave and The Bold airs every Friday at 6:30pm (ET) on Cartoon Network. Young Justice airs on Cartoon Network every Friday at 7:00pm (ET), with the network airing special encore presentations the following Sunday at 8:00pm (ET).
