Latest Issue Of Monthly “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” Comic Title Now Available
Green Lantern: The Animated Series #8, the latest issue of the new ongoing DC Comics title based on the acclaimed animated series of the same name, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. A digital copy will also be available through ComiXology and DC Comics. This issue features an all-new story by the creative team of writer Ivan Cohen and artist Luciano Vecchio. October 2012 Sales Estimates For “Young Justice,” “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” Comics
Sales estimates for the October 2012-shipping issues of the Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series comic titles are now available. The sales numbers below are estimates based on the information provided by Diamond Comics Distributors made available earlier this month.

The October 2012 issue of Young Justice, issue #21, sold an estimated 7,557 copies to comic shops in North America. The title has been experiencing a slow growth in sales from month to month for the past year, usually an addition 1% jump per issue, though the switch to the second season Young Justice: Invasion era of the animated series with issue #20 has resulted in a bigger 5% jump in comic sales. The comic experienced a small jump in sales between issue #20 and #21, of 0.5%. Please note these numbers do not take into account copies appearing on newsstands or sold digitally.
DC Comics has recently announced the cancellation of the Young Justice comic series with issue #25, hitting shelves February 2013.

New Images Released From Upcoming “Young Justice: Legacy” Video Game
Little Orbit has provided The World’s Finest with a collection of images from the the upcoming Young Justice: Legacy video game title, including a selection of new stills. Please note these images are from an early phase in the title’s development. Young Justice: Legacy, released by Little Orbit in conjuncture with Warner Bros. Interactive, is based on the popular Young Justice animated series. The new video game will launch February 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS and Wii. Young Justice: Legacy is an Action RPG where players control multiple characters in a squad created from twelve possible team members to explore, fight, gather experience, and level up. Trade Ad For Upcoming “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two” Animated Feature
Warner Home Video has released a new trade ad for the direct-to-video Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two animated feature, slated to arrive on home video on January 29th, 2013. The animated feature concludes the two-part adaptation of the acclaimed landmark 1980s comic series The Dark Knight Returns, featuring an aged Batman forced out of retirement to save a crumbling city. According to the ad, the Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part One animated feature has a run time of 74 minutes and will be released on Blu-ray Combo Pack and single-disc DVD. A two-disc Special Edition DVD release is likely, though currently unconfirmed.
