Discovery Home Entertainment has announced Watchmen: Chapter Two, the conclusion of the two-part animated adaptation of the acclaimed 1980s Watchmen comic series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, will be available on home media before the end of 2024. Based on DC’s acclaimed graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons, Watchmen: Chapter Two, the second part of the all-new animated two-part feature film from Warner Bros. Animation and Paramount, will be released on Digital on November 26 and on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on December 3. The animated feature concludes the faithful adaptation of the groundbreaking graphic novel series by writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons, which redefined the superhero genre when it debuted in the mid-1980s.
Watchmen: Chapter One and Watchmen: Chapter Two delve into the gritty and complex world of masked vigilantes in an alternate version of America during the Cold War era. The “Watchmen” saga remains a cornerstone of comic book literature, having garnered numerous awards and accolades over the decades.
The adaptation captures the spirit and style of Moore and Gibbons’ original, groundbreaking vision with stunning animation that pays homage to the comic book’s iconic visual style. The film features a stellar voice cast that includes Matthew Rhys (TV’s Brothers & Sisters, The Americans, Perry Mason) Katee Sackhoff (TV’s Battlestar Galactica, Longmire, The Mandalorian) and Titus Welliver (TV’s Lost, Deadwood, Sons of Anarchy).

“Dynamic Duo” Animated Movie Officially In The Works
DC Studios, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and 6th & Idaho announced they will co-produce Dynamic Duo, an upcoming animated theatrical feature that will showcase a new spin on Batman’s sidekick, Robin. Swaybox Studios will handle the animation, and its co-founder and principal Arthur Mintz will direct. The teaser image is below.
Dynamic Duo revolves around Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, a pair of orphan thieves who share dreams of a better life, but their friendship will be tested when the two boys decide to take down a theft ring and change their felonious ways. Swaybox will use its proprietary Momo technology that blends CG animation with puppets, live-action performances and other visual elements. Dynamic Duo is also Swaybox’s first feature film.
DC Studios’ James Gunn and Peter Safran will help produce Dynamic Duo, along with Sandbox’s Theresa Andersson and 6th & Idaho founder Matt Reeves. The script will be penned by Matthew Aldrich, the screenwriter for Coco and Lightyear. Michael Usland will also executive produce. Gunn announced the news on social media, and official press details are expected to be released in the near future, along with a release date and further cast and crew information.

“Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League” Second Teaser Trailer Released

Batman Receives Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame, Guinness World Records Title
DC Comics announced that Batman has become the first ever superhero to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, joining an already impressive collection of fictional characters on the famous street. On Thursday, September 26, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will honor Batman with the 2,790th star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. Batman’s story of determination and grit has inspired generation after generation around the world. He is vengeance. He is the night. He is Batman.
Notable not for having any superpowers but for his intelligence, skill, and technical savvy, Batman is one of the most iconic characters in the world and is beloved worldwide thanks to his portrayal in comics, TV shows, animation, film, and more since he first appeared in 1939’s Detective Comics #27. Batman is the first superhero character that the Hollywood Walk of Fame will honor with a star. Batman’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star will be dedicated next to the star of television’s Batman, Adam West, and the co-creator of Batman, Bob Kane.
DC’s president, publisher, and chief creative officer, Jim Lee, and DC’s senior vice president and general manager, Anne DePies, will attend the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Thursday, September 26, at 11:30 a.m. PT at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum when Batman, in character costume, receives his star in the category of motion pictures.
In conjunction with the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Batman will be awarded the Guinness World Records title for the first superhero with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a special presentation by official GWR adjudicator Michael Empric. Other notable Guinness World Records titles that have been awarded include Detective Comics as the longest-running comic book (continuously published since 1938), and in 2012 Batman was recognized as the most adapted comic book character (live-action movies), from Batman’s full-length movie in 1966 up to The Dark Knight Rises. Guinness World Records also recognizes Batman for having the most Oscar winners to play one superhero (George Clooney, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck), for having the most video game adaptations of a superhero movie, and more.
In collaboration with Funko, an all-day fan event on September 26 will take place alongside the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony at Funko Hollywood (6201 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028). Jim Lee will participate in an exclusive one-hour meet and greet and signing for Batman fans at Funko Hollywood from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees for this exclusive signing will be limited to fans who received a wristband.
Wristbands will be distributed to the first 100 fans who purchase a Batman product at Funko Hollywood on Tuesday, September 24, two days prior to the event. No outside product is permitted. One wristband per person. Wristbands are available on a first-come, first-served basis. On the day of the signing, fans can begin lining up at 9:00 a.m.
Warner Bros. Archives will also stage a curated pop-up museum of costumes and props from Batman’s history in film and TV at Funko Hollywood. Authentic props, iconic costumes – and some surprises – will allow audiences a rare chance to enjoy pieces of Batman cinematic history up close and in person. More details will be announced soon.

“Suicide Squad ISEKAI” Webtoon Comic Set To Debut Aug. 25, 2024
Suicide Squad ISEKAI, produced by Warner Bros. Japan and Wit Studio, is receiving an official Webtoon adaptation. The studios announced the comic, adapting the anime series currently streaming on Max and Hulu, will debut Aug. 25, 2024 via LINE MANGA and Jump TOON. Wit Studio is also producing the Webtoon adaptation, which also serves as the studio’s first simultaneous adaptation of a currently-airing anime. Warner Bros. Suicide Squad ISEKAII reveals that it’s being adapted into a Webtoon, available on LINE MANGA & Jump TOON, starting August 25, 2024! All episodes from My Adventures With Superman‘s first two seasons are available to watch on Adult Swim and stream on Max, and Warner Bros. Discovery announced in June 2024 the series will return for a third season. A trade paperback collection of the entire My Adventures With Superman comic series is set to be announced by DC Comics later this year.
Also as part of its Nov. 2024 solicitations catalog, DC Comics announced a special tie-in comic title to 2023’s acclaimed Merry Little Batman animated movie.
