Teletoon Announces Canadian Debut Of “Beware The Batman,” “Teen Titans Go!,” and “Young Justice: Invasion”

Teletoon Canadian Inc. released details today on new Fall 2013 programming lineups for the companies’ assortment of branded networks. Additions to Teletoon’s Fall 2013 schedule – which officially launches on Monday, September 2nd, 2013 – include Beware The Batman, Teen Titans Go!, and Young Justice: Invasion. The information was released through a press release announcing the upcoming season programming, including details for Teletoon, Teletoon Retro, Cartoon Network Canada, and Adult Swim. The following descriptions for each highlighted series below, specifically new animated content starring DC Comics characters, was provided by the network.

Beware the Batman
Premieres October 11, 2013 on Teletoon
Airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
New episodes air Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT

A fresh take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie.

Teen Titans GO!
Premieres Friday, September 6 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT
Airs Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT on Teletoon
New episodes air Fridays at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT

Teen Titans Go! features the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new comedic adventures. Inspired by the original 1980s series Teen Titans and featuring the principal voice cast from the original series, the show focuses on the funny things that happen between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. After all, these teens may be superheroes, but somebody still has to do the laundry. Pranks get taken to a whole new level by these titans who can turn into any animal or detach their robotic limbs.

Young Justice: Invasion
Premieres Saturday, September 7 at 10 a.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network Canada
Airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET/PT
New episodes air Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET/PT

In season two, the series Young Justice jumps five years ahead in time, as the team fights off a secret alien invasion affecting the entire planet. Viewers are also reintroduced to the original squad plus all-new members Nightwing, Wondergirl, Blue Beetle, Batgirl and Beast Boy.

Please note that Beware The Batman and Teen Titans Go! will air on Teletoon, while Young Justice: Invasion will be part of the Cartoon Network Canada line-up.

Both Teen Titans Go! and Young Justice: Invasion will join Teletoon and Cartoon Network Canada respectively starting September 2013, with Beware The Batman coming along in October 2013. Teletoon and Cartoon Network Canada, among other branded networks, will also air special presentations of assorted DC Comics-inspired animated series and features throughout the schedule.

Details For November 2013 Issue Of “Beware The Batman” Comic, Upcoming “Young Justice” Collection

DC Comics has officially announced details for the November 2013 issue of Beware The Batman, the new monthly comic series. The comic title is based on the new Cartoon Network animated series of the same name. Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. The comic book will feature rotating artists and writers providing stories based on the continuity of the new DC Nation CG-animated cartoon. Continue below for further details.

Dynamic Music Partners Discuss Creating The Soundtrack For “Young Justice”

The World’s Finest caught up with Dynamic Music Partners, who provided the score to the recent Cartoon Network animated series Young Justice, to discuss the new Young Justice: Music from the DC Comics Animated Television Series soundtrack release from La-La Land Records. The soundtrack collects an assortment of music from the two-season run of the acclaimed animated series, and is available to purchase both directly from La-La Land Records and from other major retailers. The soundtrack is currently available on compact disc and will be available soon as a digital download. Dynamic Music Partners, consisting of Emmy Award-winning composers Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis and Kristopher Carter, have created hundreds of hours of music for a variety of different genres, including TV series, independent films, video games and live performance events. New “Young Justice” Two-Disc DVD And Soundtrack Releases Available Today

The final ten episodes of the acclaimed Young Justice animated series, which recently finished its run as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network, are now available on home video in a new two-disc DVD release. Young Justice: Invasion – Season Two, Part Two: Game of Illusions brings the last ten episodes of the complex animated series to home video for the first time. Bonus features for the release also include a selection of trailers and three episodes from the Kids’WB! Static Shock animated series. The new release is now available on shelves for the suggested retail price of $19.97, and can be found in most retail and online vendors. Synopsis:
The action, intrigue and thrills continue with Season Two Part Two of Young Justice!
