Cartoon Network Releases New Wallpaper For “Green Lantern: The Animated Series”
Cartoon Network has released a new wallpaper image, along with a character shot of Green Lantern Hal Jordan, from the upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Also below is a shot of the series promotional logo. The network has also officially launched the official website for the upcoming animated series which includes a thirty second animated teaser. Coming to Cartoon Network this Fall
As Earth’s Green Lantern, Hal Jordan is used to being in dangerous situations – but he’s never faced anything like this! Set at the farthest reaches of deep space, Green Lantern: The Animated Series finds Hal on the Guardian Frontier, where he must face down an invasion from the Red Lantern Corps. Powered by pure rage, the evil Red Lanterns have sworn to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and everything they stand for.

Based upon the DC Comics super hero, Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an all-new CG animated action series from Warner Bros Animation and overseen by world-renowned producer, artist and animator Bruce Timm. Warner Bros Animation and DC Entertainment are expected to release footage from the highly-anticipated animated series throughout the summer.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has passed along the following Batman: Arkham City press release revealing new details about the highly-anticipated video game. Also included is a new image showcasing Robin. Batman: Arkham City will be available October 18th, 2011 in North America for the Playstation 3 and XBOX360 video games consoles and Windows PC. Pre-Order at Best Buy North America for Exclusive Access to the Robin Pack!
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today confirmed that Robin will be a fully playable character in the new and improved challenge mode in Batman: Arkham City. The Tim Drake Robin pack is currently available exclusively to North American fans who pre-order the game from Best Buy on any of the platforms for which the game will be available: Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Games for Windows PC and the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system.
Robin will come complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and will be playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape. The pack will also contain a bonus Red Robin character skin.
Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum and the new maximum security home for all of Gotham Citys thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new, all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.
