Cartoon Network Releases Latest Promo For Upcoming “Teen Titans Go!” Animated Series
Cartoon Network has released a new promotional spot for the upcoming Teen Titans Go! animated series. The half-hour animated series Teen Titans Go! premieres Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, and will then be rebroadcast during the DC Nation programming block Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT) beginning April 27th, 2013. …They cancelled Young Justice for THIS!?
You know, when they said they might resurrect TT due to the success of those comedy shorts, most people (Myself included) thought they would be bringing back the show that was part comedy, part action.
Now…it’s just all comedy which I don’t think will work.
That and the fact that the two creators of this show freely (almost proudly?) admit that they never watched the original TT cartoon should already be sending up red flags but this promo does nothing to make me say, “I REALLY want to see this show.”
Let’s just hope that if they ever bring back YJ, that the original creative team behind that stays the same and we pick up where we left off. We as viewers deserve better
