“The Best Of Superman” DVD Compilation Release, Other Budget Titles, Coming From Warner Home Video
Warner Home Video has released initial details for a new two-disc The Best of Superman DVD compilation release, drawing episodes from Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, and other Superman-based television programs. The DVD release, hitting shelves June 4th, 2013, features thirteen episodes spotlighting characters such as Darkseid, Doomsday and The Phantom Zone. THE BEST OF SUPERMAN
Synopsis: The super-human crime-fighting champion who started it all battles the forces of evil in 14 breathtaking fan-favorite, animated episodes drawn from multiple Superman series. Together for the first time ever on two collectible DVDs, it’s the Man of Steel starring in over four hours of the most astonishing animated adventures. “The Last Son of Krypton” chronicles the young Kal-El’s journey from infancy to invincible superhero. Warner Home Video has also released the following details for a trio of new “value-prices” Superman-based DVD titles titled Superman Supervillains. These titles each contain three episodes from Superman: The Animated Series, all focusing on a specific villain, and will retail for under $10. Each budget title will hit shelves on May 28th, 2013.
