With the League of Assassins knowing where the SoulTaker Sword is, but unable to get Katana to return it, they decide their only course of action is to kidnap Bruce Wayne and hold him for ransom – that ransom being the sword. Of course, they don’t realize that Bruce Wayne is actually Batman! When Katana shows up to turn over the sword and rescue Wayne, Alfred causes a diversion, allowing Wayne to don the Batman suit and join the battle. Teaming with Katana to end the League, Batman finds himself in an all-out ninja fight that ends with a startling revelation.

New Image From Upcoming “Justice League: War” Animated Feature Released
Warner Home Video has released a new image from the upcoming direct-to-video Justice League: War animated feature. Wonder Woman takes the spotlight in the new image. The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie title, scheduled for release come Early 2014 from Warner Home Video, will be an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics. “Justice League: Origin,” written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52” comic-line initiative. The announced cast for Justice League: War so far includes Jason O’Mara as Batman, Alan Tudyk as Superman, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Justin Kirk as Green Lantern, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, and Shemar Moore as Cyborg. Jay Oliva is confirmed as director for Justice League: War, with Heath Corson adapting the original “Justice League: Origin” story.
