First Image From Upcoming “Justice League: War” Animated Feature Released
Warner Home Video has released the first image from the upcoming direct-to-video Justice League: War animated feature. The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie title, scheduled for release come Early 2014 from Warner Home Video, will be an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics. “Justice League: Origin,” written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52” comic-line initiative. The announced cast for Justice League: War so far includes Jason O’Mara as Batman, Alan Tudyk as Superman, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Justin Kirk as Green Lantern, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, and Shemar Moore as Cyborg. Jay Oliva is confirmed as director for Justice League: War, with Heath Corson adapting the original “Justice League: Origin” story.
Justice League: War is set for release come Early 2014 as part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line from Warner Home Video. Warner Home Video Unveils Assorted Superman, DC Comics-Themed Home Video Collections
Warner Home Video has announced a trio of home video releases featuring Superman and assorted DC Comics characters. The upcoming collections are repackaged DVD home videos releases featuring episodes of Superman: The Animated Series and assorted direct-to-video animated movies. The Superman Triple Feature and Superman Double Feature DVD titles will hit shelves on October 1st, 2013 – tying into the upcoming home video release of the recent live-action theatrical film Man of Steel, and DC Comics Super Hero Movie 3-Pack will street two weeks later on October 15th, 2013. Superman Triple Feature
Release Date: October 1st, 2013
Descriptions: First, timeless characters and innovative storytelling unite to create a powerhouse collection of episodes as Superman faces off with four formidable foes to defend his adopted home. Then, embittered by Superman’s heroic successes and soaring popularity, Lex Luthor forms an alliance with the powerful computer/villain Brainiac. Lastly, Survivor of distant, destroyed Planet Krypton, young Clark Kent grows to manhood on Earth, aware of superpowers he vows to use for the benefit of his adopted planet.

The two-disc Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox – Special Edition DVD release, currently available as a retail exclusive through Wal-Mart, will be available at all retail and digital outlets starting Tuesday, September 10th, 2013. Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is the latest installment of the successful ongoing DC Universe Animated Original Movies line from Warner Home Video, this time focusing on the famed DC Comics character The Flash. “Toxic” airs Saturday, August 17th, 2013 on Cartoon Network
Responding to a break-in at Stagg Industries, Batman rescues a security guard named Rex Mason who had been exposed to a weaponized toxic gas called Project Metamorpho. Soon, Rex begins to mutate, with the ability to control the elements in his own body. Terrified and unable to control his new abilities, Rex becomes a fugitive. Realizing that this metamorphosis is slowly killing Rex, Batman sets out to find a cure. But Rex is only concerned about the woman he loves – Sapphire Stagg – and he’d risk all of Gotham to be with her. But her father – Simon Stagg – holds secrets of his own and will do anything to keep them apart.
