Confirmed Details For 2014 “Son of Batman” And “Batman: Assault on Arkham” Animated Features
A representative for Warner Home Video has confirmed details for the freshly-announced Son of Batman and Batman: Assault on Arkham direct-to-video animated features, part of the 2014 DC Universe Animated Original Movie release calendar. Warner Home Video released details on these upcoming features Friday night, July 19th, 2013, at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con. A co-production of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line adapts stories from DC Comics lore mixed with new content.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Batman: Assault on Arkham animated feature will take place in the same world and continuity as the popular Batman: Arkham video game series. The feature will be based on the world established by the acclaimed video game franchise, with some talent involved with those games slated to be part of the Batman: Assault on Arkham animated feature. It has also been confirmed the game will not be made up of footage from the games, but fresh animation. The title is expected for a Fall 2014 release as an extension of the growing brand.
Additionally, The World’s Finest received confirmation that voice recording for the first title in the 2015 line-up of DC Universe Animated Original Movies titles is currently underway.

New Images Released From Upcoming “Young Justice: Legacy” Video Game
Publisher Little Orbit has provided a new set of images from the upcoming Young Justice: Legacy video game title, which is slated to arrive September 10th, 2013 for all major consoles. Young Justice: Legacy, released in conjuncture with Warner Bros. Interactive, is an Action-RPG based on the popular Young Justice animated series that fills in the gap between the first and second season of the acclaimed animated series. Little Orbit is the studio handling the upcoming video game. The video game will launch for an assortment of consoles including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS and Wii-U.
