Cartoon Network and DC Nation have released a new television spot from the upcoming Beware The Batman animated series, debuting this Saturday, July 13th, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT) as part of the DC Nation programming block.
Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie.

Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation have released media for new animated short-form content set to debut this Saturday, July 13th, 2013 during the DC Nation programming block. The animated short “Wonder Woman” is set to premiere this weekend. The hour-long DC Nation programming block airs Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. The DC Nation animated shorts star a host of different DC Comics characters in varying styles, and are usually paired with live-action interstitials. Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with new stills and a clip from the upcoming Teen Titans Go! episode “Parasite,” airing Tuesday, July 16th, 2013 at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. The half-hour comedy/adventure series – which features two 11-minute tales – airs new episodes Tuesdays at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing during the DC Nation programming block Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT). New “DC Comics Super-Villains: Superman – Worlds At War!” DVD Compilation Announced
Warner Home Video has released initial details for a new two-disc DC Comics Super-Villains: Superman – Worlds At War! DVD compilation release, drawing episodes from Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. The DVD release, hitting shelves September 24th, 2013 with a MSRP of $19.97, features thirteen episodes spotlighting assorted space-based villains. This is the latest in a series of special compilation and budget-themed DVD releases from Warner Home Video starring popular DC Comics characters. Final Issue Of “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” Comic Title Now Available
Green Lantern: The Animated Series #14, the final issue of the bi-monthly DC Comics title based on the acclaimed animated series of the same name, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. A digital copy will also be available through ComiXology and DC Comics. New Ongoing “Beware The Batman” Comic Series Debuts October 2013 From DC Comics
DC Comics has officially announced the new ongoing monthly series Beware The Batman, slated to debut from the publisher this October 2013. The comic title is based on the new Cartoon Network animated series of the same name. The regular creative team for the new comic book will feature Ivan Cohen as writer and Luciano Vecchio as the series’ artist.
