Latest “Suicide Squad ISEKAI” Trailer, Soundtrack Details, Imagery Released
Warner Bros. Japan released a third trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime series, along with a poster and initial details on the series’ end theme song. Announced back in Summer 2023, Suicide Squad ISEKAI is a collaboration between Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio, featuring an all-new story starring DC Comics’ Task Force X, that will see a global release in Summer 2024. Continue below for further details.
Warner Bros. Japan also announced artist Mori Calliope will perform the end theme song for Suicide Squad ISEKAI. The song, called “Go-Getters,” is composed by Giga & Teddyloid and features lyrics by Mori Calliope and Yuki Tsujimura. The Lego Group has officially announced an upcoming LEGO set celebrating Batman: The Animated Series. Hitting shelves on April 4, 2024, the LEGO DC Batman Gotham City Skyline set includes 4,210 pieces, minifigures of Catwoman, Batman, Harley Quinn, and Joker, and will retail for $299US. On June 4, DC is bringing the action and excitement of the hit animated series My Adventures with Superman to comic book fans in a new series. Written by series producer Josie Campbell and drawn by artist Pablo M. Collar, My Adventures with Superman picks up from the explosive end of season one, serving as a bridge to the highly anticipated season two.
“Being the producer of My Adventures with Superman and bringing Clark Kent to TV screens around the world has been nothing but a dream come true for me,” said Campbell. “So I’m absolutely thrilled that Pablo and I get to bring fans even more adventures with Superman, this time in comic book form!”
Clark Kent is a bit down and out, spending Christmas alone in Metropolis. But when he gets a tip about a monster in the sewers, Superman, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen spring into action to investigate this mystery. What is this monster that can absorb anything it touches, and why is it here in Metropolis?
“This story is one we actually talked about in the writers room, but we didn’t have space for it in season one,” continued Campbell. “So get ready for romance, comedy, super-powers, Jimmy Olsen talking a lot about how he’s super-rich now, and all the goodness of the show bundled into this action-packed miniseries.”
Artist Pablo M. Collar brings an impressive DC pedigree to this series, having provided art for DC’s Are You Afraid of Darkseid, DC’s Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun, and other DC anthology titles. “I was completely in love with My Adventures with Superman the minute I saw the announcement of the series, and I jumped at the chance to work with Josie on the comic,” said Collar. “Superman has always been the reference and the symbol of all that’s good in us, and being part of something like this is a dream come true, and the whole team will give it our best.”
My Adventures with Superman #1 is available for pre-order at participating comic book shops Friday, March 15, and arrives at participating shops and e-tailers Tuesday, June 4. The debut issue features a main cover by Carli Squiteri, with variant covers by Gavin Guidry and Riley Rossmo, plus a blank sketch variant cover. Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has released the official trailer for the upcoming Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part Two animated feature. The DC Universe Movie title, available April 23, 2024 on digital media, is the second of three animated movies loosely adapting the classic 1980s DC Comics Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event. DC Comics announced The Batman and Robin Adventures Omnibus, an upcoming oversized hardcover release collecting the acclaimed Batman & Robin Adventures comic series, will hit shelves July 9, 2024. Batman & Robin Adventures, the sequel series to the original The Batman Adventures comic series, features stories inspired by Batman: The Animated Series.
