Teletoon, Cartoon Network Schedule Update For “Young Justice” Animated Series
The Canadian network Teletoon has released schedule details for January 2012, including press information for new episodes of Young Justice slated to debut during the month. While complete specific episode details will not be available for Teletoon until next week, below is the overall description provided by the network.

Airs Friday, January 6 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
Being a teenager means proving yourself over and over to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and ultimately, to yourself. But what if you were a teenage superhero? How much harder would it be to prove yourself in a world of super powers, super villains and super secrets? Would you be ready for life-or-death rites of passage? Would you be ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you’re worthy of the Justice League? That’s exactly what Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis will find out as members of Young Justice.
The episode “Alpha Male” is schedule to debut Friday, January 6th at 7:00pm (ET) on Teletoon, with further episode specific details slated for availability next week.
In further schedule news, Cartoon Network has released details for the month of January 2012. No new episodes of Young Justice are slated to debut during the month, with the series completely absent from the current schedule listings. Batman: The Brave and The Bold is also completely absent from the schedule listings for January 2012.

“Batman: Under The Red Hood” Animated Feature Airs January 2012 On Teletoon
The 2010 direct-to-video Batman: Under The Red Hood animated feature is slated to kick off a month of special DC Universe Animated Original Movie events on the Fred At Night programming block beginning Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at 9:00pm (ET) on the Canadian network Teletoon. Batman: Under The Red Hood features Batman facing off against a mysterious vigilante with ties to his past. Warner Home Video Announces “Young Justice – Three-Pack Fun” DVD Collection
Initial details for the freshly-announced Young Justice – Three-Pack of Fun, a three-disc collection featuring 12 episodes from the acclaimed animated series, have been released by Warner Home Video. Young Justice – Three-Pack Fun, hitting shelves April 17th, 2012, collects the two previous single-disc Young Justice DVDs and the upcoming third single-disc release under one cover. Warner Home Video, MTV Geek and The Paley Center for Media proudly present the World Premiere of Justice League: Doom, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies, in New York on February 13, 2012. Filmmakers and members of the voice cast will attend the event for red carpet media interviews and a post-screening panel discussion.
A limited number of free tickets are available for the general public. Fans in the New York City area wishing to receive free tickets to the NY event on Feb. 13 must RSVP via email to JLDoomNY@yahoo.com. Fans should include their first and last name and a valid email address.
Tickets to the event will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. MTV Geek will also be giving away special seating for the event.
Justice League: Doom finds Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg and Batman on their heels when a team of super villains discover and implement the Dark Knights contingency plans for stopping any rogue Justice League member. The story is inspired by Mark Waids much-heralded JLA: Tower of Babel.
The film features the voices of Nathan Fillion (Castle) as Green Lantern, Tim Daly (Private Practice) as Superman, and a grand reunion of actors who provided the voices of the Justice League for the cartoon of the same name and its follow-up, Justice League Unlimited, including Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) as Batman, Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville, Breaking In) as Flash, Susan Eisenberg (Superman/Batman: Apocalypse) as Wonder Woman and Carl Lumbly (Alias) as Jonn Jonzz/Martian Manhunter. Bumper Robinson (A Different World, Transformers: Animated) joins the cast as Cyborg. The cast features three villainous alumni of the Justice League animated series: Phil Morris (Smallville, Seinfeld) as Vandal Savage, Olivia dAbo (The Wonder Years) as Star Sapphire, and Alexis Denisof (Angel) as Mirror Master. Also opposing our heroes are Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911) as Bane, Paul Blackthorne (The Dresden Files) as Metallo, and Claudia Black (Farscape, Stargate SG-1) as Cheetah. David Kaufman (Danny Phantom) also reprises his Justice League role of Jimmy Olsen.
The filmmaking team includes executive producer by Bruce Timm, director Lauren Montgomery, producer Alan Burnett and dialogue/casting director Andrea Romano. Justice League: Doom is the final DC Universe film script from the late Dwayne McDuffie.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today released a new images and trailers for the acclaimed Batman: Arkham City video game. The trailer promotes the new downloadable content, including new challenge maps and character skins, along with bundle packaging previous downloadable content. Batman: Arkham City is currently available on Xbox360 and Playstation3. The Arkham Bundle brings together the Nightwing Bundle Pack, Robin Bundle Pack and the Arkham City Skins Pack for 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $14.99 on PSN and Games for Windows Marketplace.

The Hub, Teletoon Retro To Airing Holiday-Themed “Batman: The Animated Series”
The classic Batman: The Animated Series episode “Christmas with the Joker” is scheduled to air as part of special holiday-programming on both Teletoon Retro and The Hub. The Canadian network Teletoon Retro has been airing special programming all month to highlight the season, and has scheduled “Christmas with the Joker” to air this coming Sunday, December 18th, 2011 at 3:30pm (ET).
