Cartoon Network Schedules “Teen Titans: Trouble In Tokyo” For New Year’s Eve
The 2006 direct-to-video Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo animated feature is slated to air in prime-time during Cartoon Network’s special movie-themed New Year’s Eve programming. The animated feature is scheduled to air Friday, December 31st, 2010 at 6:00pm (ET), one of the many features the network has scheduled for the day. When a high-tech ninja attacks Titans Tower, Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven and Beast Boy spring into action. Robin finds out that the ninja was sent by a mysterious and menacing Japanese criminal known as Brushogun, and the Teen Titans travel to Tokyo to track the villain down.

Holiday “Batman: The Brave And The Bold” Airing On Cartoon Network, Teletoon
Cartoon Network will air the holiday-themed Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode “Invasion of the Secret Santas!” as part of the network’s month-long initiative of holiday programming. “Invasion of the Secret Santas!” debuted during the first season of the series. The Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode will air in the show’s regular timeslot, this Friday, December 17th, 2010 at 7:00pm (ET). Also, Batman and Blue Beetle throw Sportsmaster a perfect strike when he sets up a deadly game with human bowling pins at the alley!
The Canadian network Teletoon is also set to air the Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode “Invasion of the Secret Santas!” on Sunday, December 19th, 2010 at 8:30am (ET). The episode airs as part of the network’s month-long special holiday programming.

Teletoon Retro To Air Holiday-Themed “Batman: The Animated Series” Episode
The classic Batman: The Animated Series episode “Christmas with the Joker” is scheduled to air as part of the holiday-programming on Teletoon Retro. The Canadian network has been airing special programming all-month highlighting the season. While the network has aired “Christmas with the Joker” numerous times, this is the first time this particular Batman: The Animated Series episode is part of the network’s holiday programming. The Joker takes over Gotham’s airwaves and terrorizes the city during Christmas. Holding Commissioner Gordon, Detective Bullock, and Summer Gleason hostage, he challenges Batman to find him before midnight, or else the hostages will have a very un-merry Christmas.
Batman: The Animated Series currently airs daily at 2am (ET) on Teletoon Retro. The network is slated to add additional episodes to the daily rotation of Batman: The Animated Series airings in 2011. Batman: The Animated Series, which recently aired episodes on the Disney XD channel, currently does not air on any major American network.

Interactive Entertainment passed along the following Batman: Arkham City content, including a new trailer and images for the upcoming sequel to the acclaimed 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, all of which are available below. The new trailer highlights the classic Batman villain Dr. Hugo Strange. Batman: Arkham City is slated to appear on all major home video consoles Fall 2011. Batman Beyond will be pre-empted on Friday, December 17th, 2010 due to special programming on The Hub. Additionally, the network will be taking Batman Beyond back to the beginning starting on Monday, December 21st, 2010 with the series opener “Rebirth, Part One” airing at both 7:30am (ET) and 5:30pm (ET).
The Hub, a multi-platform joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., features original programming as well as content from Discovery’s library of children’s educational programming; from Hasbro’s portfolio of entertainment and educational properties built during the past 90 years; and from leading third-party producers worldwide. Teletoon Retro Planning Special Marathon For “Batman: The Animated Series”
Teletoon Retro is currently planning to schedule a special marathon of classic Batman: The Animated Series episodes as a result of a recent fan survey the network conducted. The network recently held the “Teletoon Retro Hall of Fame” event, allowing viewers to choose their top five favorite characters from the network line-up most deserving. The winning characters would each receive special marathons of their respective series, the marathons currently scheduled to be held at the end of December 2010.
Batman was one of the top five characters chosen and, in effect, the network is tentatively scheduled to hold a marathon of Batman: The Animated Series episodes later this month. The other top-five characters in the “Teletoon Retro Hall of Fame” vote include Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Optimus Prime and Spider-Man. Each respective character will also receive a special dedicated marathon.
