“Harley Quinn” Season Three Debuts July 28, 2022 On HBO Max, Teaser Trailer Released
Warner Bros. Animation has released a trailer and details for the third season of the Harley Quinn animated series, set to premiere on the HBO Max streaming service with three episodes on July 28, 2022. One new episode of the acclaimed adult action-comedy series will then debut weekly, released every Thursday through to September 15, 2022. The first two seasons of Harley Quinn were produced for and streamed on the non-defunct DC Universe streaming service. Warner Bros. Animation describes the upcoming season of Harley Quinn as follows:
The mayhem and madness continue in season three of this biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series. Wrapping up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour,” Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) – “Harlivy” strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.
Based on characters from DC, Harley Quinn is produced by Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions and Yes, Norman Productions in association with Warner Bros. Animation. The series was developed by Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey. Executive Producers are Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Kaley Cuoco, Sam Register, Jessica Goldstein and Chrissy Pietrosh.

“Young Justice: Targets,” “Harley Quinn” Anniversary Special Coming September 2022 From DC Comics
The third issue of the Young Justice: Targets mini-series and a Harley Quinn 30th anniversary special comic are both set for a September 2022 release from DC Comics. “Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires” Announced By HBO Max Latin America
HBO MAX Latin America announced Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires), an original animated feature-length film, at Guadalajara International Film Festival. The Spanish-language film places the Dark Knight far in the past and against the backdrop of Aztec Mexico. HBO MAX Latin America will present a new tale of the Dark Knight with Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires), an original animated feature-length film that places the iconic DC Super Hero against the backdrop of the captivating history of Mexico and immerse fans around the world in the exciting culture of Mesoamerica. The announcement was made during a special cocktail event at the 37th edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (GIFF).
In the time of the Aztec Empire, Yohualli Coatl – a young Aztec boy – experiences tragedy when his father and village leader, Toltecatzin, is murdered by Spanish Conquistadors. Yohualli escapes to Tenochtitlan to warn King Moctezuma and his high priest, Yoka, of imminent danger. Using the temple of Tzinacan, the bat god, as a lair, Yohualli trains with his mentor and assistant, Acatzin, developing equipment and weaponry to confront the Spaniard invasion, protect Moctezuma’s temple, and avenge his father’s death.
Currently celebrating its 20th year in business as a leading animation in Latin America and recognized as a global player in the animation industry specializing in children’s programming, Ánima has worked before with iconic characters like Top Cat, with the film Top Cat, the Movie which broke box office records along the way, as with Top Cat Begins which was successfully released in theaters in more than 35 countries.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Anima and Chatrone, Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires) is a Particular Crowd film and based on characters from DC for HBO MAX. Juan Meza-León (Harley Quinn) serves as director, José C. García de Letona, Aaron D. Berger, Carina Schulze and Fernando De Fuentes as producers of the film which will be produced entirely in Mexico, feature top local talent, and showcase the region’s abundant art. Sam Register and Tomás Yankelevich serve as Executive Producers. Alejandro Díaz Barriga, a consultant specializing in Mesoamerican studies and ethnic history of Mexico and the Andean region, will work with the creative team to ensure that the indigenous representation portrayed in the film is appropriate and relevant.

“Krypto The Superdog: The Complete Series” DVD Collection Coming Aug. 2, 2022

Home Entertainment has announced the Krypto The Superdog: The Complete Series DVD collection, hitting retail shelves on August 2, 2022. In 2005, a new breed of Super Hero claimed its place of prominence among Saturday morning cartoons with the premiere of Krypto The Superdog: The Complete Series. On August 2, 2022, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment brings the acclaimed complete animated series to DVD (USA $44.98 SRP; Canada $49.99 SRP).
Created by Chris Mitchell, Krypto The Superdog: The Complete Series follows the adventures of the title character – Superman’s beloved pooch – who also acquires the powers afforded his original Earthbound master. Alongside allies like Ace The Bat-Hound and Streaky the Supercat, Krypto fights the forces of evil, which include the animal companions of Lex Luthor and Catwoman.
Sam Vincent (Ninjago, Sausage Party) voiced the title character to lead the robust cast that included Brian Drummond (Monster Beach) as Streaky, Scott McNeil (X-Men: Evolution) as Ace the Bat-Hound, Alberto Ghisi (Trick ‘r Treat) as Kevin Whitney, Tabita St. Germain (My Little Pony franchise) as Andrea, Terry Klassen (Dragon Ball Z) as Tusky Husky, Ellen Kennedy (Polly Pocket) as Brainy Barker, Michael Dobson (The Deep) as Bulldog. Additional cast members included Peter Kelamis (Beyond, Riverdale) as Tail Terrier, Mark Oliver (Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu) as Mechanikat, Trevor Devall (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe) as Hot Dog, and Nicole Bouma (Powerpuff Girls Z) as Snooky Wookums.
Scott Jeralds (Static Shock) and Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series) served as supervising producers, and Linda Steiner (Pound Puppies) and Paul Dini (Superman: The Animated Series) were producers on the series. Sander Schwartz was the executive producer. Burnett and Dini also served as story editors, while Jeralds directed all 39 episodes of Krypto the Superdog.

Matt Ryan reprises his live-action and animated role as the Hellblazer himself in Constantine – The House of Mystery. In the all-new short, John Constantine wakes up in the eerie House of Mystery with no recollection of how he got there. Fortunately, Zatanna and his friends are all there. Unfortunately, they have a bad habit of turning into demons and ripping him to shreds, over and over again! Camilla Luddington and Ray Chase reprise their roles from Justice League Dark: Apokolips War as Zatanna and Jason Blood/Etrigan, respectively, while Robin Atkin Downes and Damian O’Hare reprise their roles from Constantine: City of Demons as Negral and Chas, respectively. In addition, Grey Griffin and Lou Diamond Phillip join the cast of the short, which is directed by Matt Peters from a script by Ernie Altbacker.
While Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth!, The Losers and Blue Beetle have all appeared as enhanced content on past DC Universe Movies, the extended-length Constantine: The House of Mystery makes its public debut as the anchor for this dynamic shorts compilation. DC Comics has released details on the upcoming Young Justice: Targets mini-series and the Harley Quinn: The Kiss. Bang. Kill. Tour hardcover collection as part of their July 2022 solicitations. “Aquaman: King of Atlantis” DVD, Digital HD Release Delayed To June 21, 2022
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the DVD and Digital HD release for Aquaman: King of Atlantis will now hit shelves June 21, 2022. The release was originally slated for April 26, 2022. Aquaman: King of Atlantis collects the three-episode HBO Max mini-series of the same name and presents it as a feature-length movie. Continue below Warner Bros.’ statement on the set’s delay:
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) has shifted the release date of the action-packed Aquaman: King of Atlantis movie to June 21, 2022.
Aquaman: King of Atlantis begins with Aquaman starting his first day on the job as king of Atlantis – and he’s got a lot of catching up to do. Luckily, he has his two royal advisors to back him up: the scholar Vulko, and Mera, the water controlling warrior princess. Between dealing with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman must rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects – and to himself – that he’s the true heir to the throne, and holder of the trident!
The date change was made in order to enhance the visibility of the box set in retail outlets.
