MPAA Officially Passes PG-13 Rating For “Batman: Assault On Arkham” Animated Feature
Falling in line with previous titles in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie direct-to-video feature line, the MPAA recently handed down a PG-13 rating to the upcoming Batman: Assault on Arkham animated feature. The animated movie – which will be available August 12th, 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and for Digital Download – features a new story based on the popular Batman: Arkham video game series. In Batman: Assault on Arkham, a routine mission by the Suicide Squad to stop The Riddler goes awry when The Joker gets involved, drawing the attention of Batman. The San Diego Comic-Con convention is held every year, and focuses on a host of different genres and pop culture events. Warner Bros. Television also plans convention presentations for their upcoming DC Comics-based live-action programming, including Gotham, Arrow, The Flash, and Constantine, with Warner Bros. Animation is also expected to make announcements for upcoming projects based on DC Comics characters at the convention, including upcoming direct-to-video animated features and possible new animated shows.
San Diego Comic-Con 2014 will be located at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, beginning with Preview Night on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 with the four days of the event running Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27. 2014 marks the 45th year for the show, making it the longest continuously-run comics and popular arts convention.

Writer/Director Details For Currently Unaired Episodes Of “Beware The Batman”
The World’s Finest has obtained writer and director credits for currently un-aired episodes of Beware The Batman, including the last thirteen episodes of the show’s initial 26-episode order. The CG-animated series currently airs Saturday nights at 3:00am (ET) as part of the Toonami programming block on Adult Swim, though will move to a new 2:30am (ET) timeslot – on the same night – starting at the end of July 2014. July 2014 also starts the broadcast debut of 15 un-aired Beware The Batman episodes with “Attraction,” with further schedule details available here.
Beware The Batman offers a radical new take on the established Batman mythos. Featuring slick CGI visuals to match the intricate twists and turns of the narrative, Batman faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana.

The collection, featuring the final thirteen episodes from the CG-animated series currently airing on Adult Swim, will be available starting September 30th, 2014.
