Teletoon Releases August 2011 Animated “Justice League” Episode Schedule Details
Schedule details have been provided by the Canadian network Teletoon for episodes of Justice League slated to air during August 2011, the last month for the series on the network for the foreseeable future. The series is set to be removed from the programming schedule when the Teletoon Fall 2011 begins on Monday, September 5th, 2011. The information listed below is provided by Teletoon.
Friday, August 5th, 2011 at 7:30pm (ET) – “In Blackest Night, Part Two”
A squad of indestructible androids called the Manhunters arrives on Earth and arrests Green Lantern for interstellar atrocities and abuses of power. While the Manhunters take Green Lantern to appear before an intergalactic tribunal, the Justice League comes to his defense, trying to prove his innocence. Part Two of Two.
Friday, August 12th, 2011 at 7:30pm (ET)- “The Enemy Below, Part One”

New Package Artwork For Upcoming “Batman: Year One” DVD Titles, Additional Updates
New package artwork for the single-disc DVD and Two-Disc Special Edition release of Batman: Year One, the upcoming direct-to-video animated feature based on the acclaimed graphic novel of the same name, has been released by Warner Home Video. The studio will be releasing Batman: Year One in a plethora of different home video formats on October 18th, 2011. Click on the thumbnail images below for a closer look at the DVD packaging.
Additional Batman: Year One Blu-ray package artwork is expected shortly.
Details on the home video release of Batman: Year One, including a rundown of Blu-ray extras, can be found here, along with the official trailer. Warner Home Video is expected to cross-promote the release of Batman: Year One with Batman: Arkham City, the latest entry in the Batman videogame franchise from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, which is also scheduled for an October 18th, 2011 release.
In additional home video updates, Warner Home Video will be re-releasing the recent Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker Blu-ray title on November 22nd, 2011. Menu System, Disc Artwork For Recent “Young Justice – Season One, Volume One” DVD
Continue below to check out the menu system and disc art for the recent Young Justice – Season One, Volume One DVD release from Warner Home Video. The single-disc DVD home video release officially hit shelves on July 19th, 2011, though multiple consumers have reported a shortage of available copies in retail outlets nationwide. The Young Justice – Season One, Volume One features the first four episodes from the new animated series from Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation – “Independence Day,” “Fireworks (Independence Day, Part Two),” “Welcome to Happy Harbor,” and “Drop Zone” – but lacks bonus features save for promotional trailers. Young Justice – Season One, Volume One is the first in a series of planned home video releases for the acclaimed comic book-inspired cartoon.
While final sales numbers cannot be currently verified, first week sales estimates for Young Justice – Season One, Volume One for the weekend ending July 24th, 2011, fall below the 30,000 mark, along with the DVD release failing to place on all major sales charts. Again, this can be attributed to the multiple consumer reports stating the general shortage of the disc’s availability.
Young Justice – Season One, Volume One, on sale for the suggested retail price of $14.97, is available at all retail and online retailers. The next Young Justice home video release is expected to be announced later this year.

Batman is introduced to a team of energetic androids known as the Metal Men. When their creator goes missing at the hands of the Gas Gang, Batman helps them track the villains to get him back!

A school field trip goes awry when Dr. Double X causes lab explosion that fuses slacker science teacher Ronnie to his genius pupil Jason creating the reluctant hero firestormand unbeknownst them, it leaves Batman divided into three parts!

Aqualad, Robin and Speedy have had it with being bossed around and demand a piece of the action, but they get more than they bargained for when they find themselves facing off against Ra’s Al-Ghul and his flying island!
Friday, September 2nd, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET) – “The Super-Batman of Planet X!”
Batman lands on this distant planet Zurr En Arrh and finds a doppelganger Batman, but more surprisingly, on this planet the Caped Crusader has super powers! Together they battle the mad genius Rhotul, who soon learns Batman’s super weakness.
Batman: The Brave and The Bold airs every Friday at 7:00pm (ET) on the Teletoon “Superfan Friday” programming block, with Friday-premiering episodes re-airing Sundays at 8:30am (ET) as part of the “Action Block” programming block. Schedule details are subject to change without notice.

Titles, Initial Details For Final Episodes Of Animated “Batman: The Brave And The Bold”
While the actual production order for the final four episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold have not yet been confirmed, The World’s Finest has received confirmation on the episode titles – along with initial details on some – for said episodes. The final four episodes of the acclaimed animated series consist of “Powerless!,” “Crisis 22,300 Miles Above Earth!,” “Four Star Spectacular!” and “Mitefall.” These four episodes will make up episodes #62 – 65 of Batman: The Brave and The Bold.
“Powerless!” will feature Batman teaming up with Captain Atom to face a dire threat, while “Crisis 22,300 Miles Above Earth!” features a story inspired by the classic Justice League of America/Justice Society of America team-up stories published by DC Comics. Details on the episodes “Four Star Spectacular!” and “Mitefall!” are being kept under wraps to avoid plot spoilers. While not the final episodes produced, “Four Star Spectacular!” and “Mitefall!” are expected to act as a wrap-up for Batman: The Brave and The Bold.
