Title For Next Direct-To-Video “DC Universe Animated Original Movie” Release Revealed
According to the back cover art for the upcoming Blu-ray and Two-Disc Special Edition DVD release of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, hitting shelves next month, the title of the next direct-to-video animated feature from the popular “DC Universe Animated Original Movie” line is Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League Unlimited) is listed as the writer for this upcoming feature. Official details on Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths are not expected until later this year. Two more additions to the “DC Universe Animated Original Movie” line are expected in 2010, including at least one Batman-themed animated feature. Details are subject to change.

New “The Batman Double Feature” Two-Sided DVD Release Now Available For Purchase
A new Double Feature DVD release from Warner Home Video hits shelves today, featuring two animated Batman adventures. The new release, titled The Batman Double Features, features both The Batman/Superman Movie and The Batman Versus Dracula on a single flipper-disc, with one movie featured on each side of the disc. Bonus content on this release is identical to the previous DVD releases of both features. The Batman Double Feature should be readily available at discount prices. This title marks the third animated Batman-themed Double Feature release from Warner Home Video, with the first such release including Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and the second featuring Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Batman is back for a second time teaming up with Green Arrow, Wildcat, Blue Beetle, Speedy and others to protect the world in this thrilling series put together by the unstoppable tag team of Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics. This second release from this hit action-packed adventure series airing on Cartoon Network is being released by WHV on DVD November 10, 2009, at the suggested retail price of $14.98.Everyone knows that by himself the Caped Crusader is more than any villain can handle, but when he has other heroes from across the DC Universe by his side, there is no chance of taking him down. Though still based in Gotham, Batman frequently finds himself outside city limits, facing situations that are both unfamiliar and exhilarating.
