Johnny Cage embarks on his biggest journey yet in Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match. The all-new, original feature-length film inspired by the best-selling worldwide videogame will be available to purchase on October 17, 2023.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match, the fourth animated film in the franchise, sees Johnny Cage in 1980s Hollywood on a mission to become a famous actor. However, his world soon changes when his co-star disappears, and he embarks on a journey filled with danger and deceit.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match is directed by Ethan Spaulding (Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms) from a script by Jeremy Adams (Justice League: Warworld), who also penned the screenplays for the series’ first three films, and supervising producer is Rick Morales (Mortal Kombat Legends franchise, Bablyon 5: The Return Home). All four films are based on the Mortal Kombat videogame franchise created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Sam Register and NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon are executive producers.

When a woman from Bruce Wayne’s past, Andrea Beaumont, comes back into his life, Bruce questions whether he should continue protecting Gotham City as Batman. Warner Bros. Japan, Wit Studio Announce “Suicide Squad ISEKAI” Original Anime Series
Warner Bros. Japan said production is currently underway on Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an all-new original anime series based on the popular DC Comics characters. Announced during a special panel at the Anime Expo 2023 convention, the studio stated WIT Studio will be handling the animation production for the series. Watch the announcement trailer below.
Additional details announced include that Suicide Squad ISEKAI will be directed by Eri Osada, with screenplays by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara. Continuing, Naoto Hosoda is the main character designer and Kenichirou Suehiro is the music composer. A teaser poster was also released illustrated by Akira Amano, who’s credited with draft character designs for Suicide Squad ISEKAI. “Harley Quinn” Season Four Debuts July 27, 2023 On Max
Warner Bros. Animation has announced the fourth season of the acclaimed Harley Quinn animated series will debut July 27, 2023 exclusively on Max, the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming platform. The critically-acclaimed Max Original adult-animated series was renewed for a fourth season in 2022. My Adventures with Superman, the newest animated series from Warner Bros. Animation and DC, is set to take flight Thursday, July 6 at midnight on Adult Swim and next day on Max. The official trailer and key art showcasing Jack Quaid as the voice of Clark Kent, Alice Lee as the voice of Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as the voice of Jimmy Olsen also debuted today [June 5, 2023].
My Adventures with Superman is a serialized coming-of-age story catching up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet. The story follows Clark as he builds his secret identity as Superman and explores his own mysterious origins. Lois, on her way to becoming a star reporter, teams up with photographer Jimmy Olsen to break the stories that matter. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love… as Lois gets closer and closer to uncovering his secret identity! Our trio share adventures, take down bad guys, stumble over secrets, and discover what it means to be heroes in their own right.
Season one will debut with two back-to-back episodes, followed by one new episode every Thursday. Encores of new episodes will air Fridays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim and Saturdays at midnight on Toonami. New episodes will also stream Fridays on Max.

The World’s Finest Interviews “Gargoyles” Co-Creator Greg Weisman
They live again! After a long slumber, Gargoyles – the critically-acclaimed 1990s animated series from Walt Disney Animation – has roared back to life, thanks in part to the current ongoing monthly series from Dynamite Comics. Launched in December 2022, written by Gargoyles co-creator Greg Weisman and featuring electric artwork by George Kambadais, the series continues the canon adventures of the Manhattan Clan, taking them to places fans have only dreamt of.
Now, Gargoyles is set to both kick-off the second half of its opening 12-issue “Here in Manhattan” arc – offering a great entry point for new readers – and launch a six-issue spin-off series, Gargoyles: Dark Ages! The World’s Finest recently caught up with Weisman to ask a few questions about the future of the Manhattan Clan, what it means to return to the world of Gargoyles, and drop a tease or two of what’s to come. Amazon Prime Video Gives “Batman: Caped Crusader” Two-Season Order, Acquires Additional Animated Batman Projects
Batman: Caped Crusader is heading to Amazon Prime Video, and it won’t be alone. The streaming service announced that, in addition to the long in-the-works upcoming Batman animated series by Bruce Timm, two other Batman-themed animated projects are coming to Prime. The other two projects picked up include the Merry Little Batman animated movie and it spin-off series, Bat-Family. All projects were originally slated for HBO Max. Prime Video today announced the acquisition of two new DC animated Batman series, alongside an original animated film from Warner Bros. Animation and DC. The film Merry Little Batman is ordered with a spinoff series, Bat-Family, along with a two-season order for Batman: Caped Crusader, from executive producers Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves. The Batman animated titles will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
“Batman: The Animated Series helped pioneer in the evolution of superhero storytelling and defined the Dark Knight for a generation,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon and MGM Studios. “Batman: Caped Crusader will no doubt continue that tradition and, alongside Merry Little Batman and Bat-Family, we’re thrilled to collaborate with Warner Bros. Merry Little Batman is an animated family action comedy destined to join the rogue’s gallery of classic holiday movies. When young Damian Wayne finds himself alone in Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve, he must transform into “Little Batman” in order to defend his home and Gotham City from the crooks and supervillains intent on destroying the holidays. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and based on characters from DC, Merry Little Batman is directed by Mike Roth (Regular Show) from a screenplay by Morgan Evans (Teen Titans Go!). Roth also serves as executive producer, alongside Sam Register.
Following the events of Merry Little Batman, Bat-Family follows Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne-who has now taken on the mantle of Little Batman-alongside a few newcomers to Wayne Manor, as they navigate the fun and frustrations of life as a super family. Jase Ricci, Mike Roth, and Sam Register are set to executive produce the series, which is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.
