Preview For “Beware The Batman” Issue #6, Final Issue Of The DC Comics Title
DC Comics has provided a preview for Beware The Batman #6, the final issue of the monthly comic title. The comic hits retail and digital outlets this Wednesday, March 26th, 2014. Beware The Batman is based on the Cartoon Network animated series of the same name, which is currently on broadcast hiatus in North America. A downloadable version of the comic will also be available through digital outlets including ComiXology and the DC Comics website.
Matthew K. Manning is the author for Beware The Batman #6, with Luciano Vecchio providing the art. The World’s Finest recently interviewed both Beware The Batman comic writer Manning and artist Vecchio. The interviews can be found here and here respectively.

Details for upcoming comic collections slated from publisher DC Comics for the remainder of 2014 and into early 2015 have been released, and among them is a collection for the recent Beware The Batman comic series. These early details are provided by DC Comics to an assortment of retail and online outlets to plan publishing initiatives for the next twelve months. Beware The Batman – Volume One will include the entire six-issue run of the monthly title – the last issue of which is scheduled to hit shelves next Wednesday (March 26th, 2014) – and retail for $12.99US. New “The Batman Adventures” Trade Paperback Collection Coming November 2014
Details for upcoming comic collections slated from publisher DC Comics for the remainder of 2014 and into early 2015 have been released, and among them is a new collection for the acclaimed 1990s The Batman Adventures series. These early details are provided by DC Comics to an assortment of retail and online outlets to plan publishing initiatives for the next twelve months. The Batman Adventures – Volume One, set to replace the original out-of-print trade paperback releases from nearly twenty years ago, will include the first ten issues of the original classic comic series and retail for $19.99US.

“Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-ray Now Available From Warner Archive
Starting today, Warner Archive’s new Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray title is now available to own directly from the label’s website and other digital outlets. The two-disc Blu-ray set, priced at $24.95US, features the complete 26-episode run of the fan-beloved animated series. This is the first Blu-ray release for the acclaimed Green Lantern: The Animated Series show, which is also currently available on DVD via retail and online outlets. With stunning, stylized CG animation, Green Lantern: The Animated Series takes viewers on a journey of cosmic proportions as Hal Jordan and his band of heroes fight to save the universe.
This is the latest Blu-ray animated release from Warner Archive, part of the Warner Bros. DC Comics Provides Details For June 2014 Issue Of “Teen Titans Go!”
DC Comics has officially announced details for the June 2014 issue of Teen Titans Go!, the bi-monthly all-ages comic series from DC Entertainment. The Teen Titans Go! comic book title, based on the Cartoon Network ratings hit of the same name, collects two 10-page stories per issue. Each 10-page story will be initially released monthly through digital outlets, including Comixology and DC Comic, before being published in the print format on a bi-monthly basis. New “Batman And Friends,” “Superman And Friends” DVDs Slated For April 2014
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has recently announced two new budget-priced DVD collections featuring episodes of Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series. Both collections – Batman and Friends and Superman and Friends – feature four episodes, a selection of bonus content, and will retail for $9.97. Batman and Friends and Superman and Friends are both slated to hit shelves on April 1st, 2014. These two titles, which are repackages of previous DVD titles, are part of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s ongoing efforts to provide budget-priced DVD releases featuring some of the most popular characters from the acclaimed studio. New Production Images Released From Upcoming “Son Of Batman” Animated Feature
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment recently released three production images from the upcoming direct-to-video movie Son of Batman, the next installment in the ongoing DC Universe Original Movie line. The animated feature will be released May 6th, 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and for Digital Download. Son of Batman is inspired by the acclaimed Batman comic book storyline “Batman and Son” written by Grant Morrison, wherein Batman discovers he has a son – named Damian – with Talia Al Ghul.
