New “The Batman Adventures” Trade Paperback Collection Coming November 2014
Details for upcoming comic collections slated from publisher DC Comics for the remainder of 2014 and into early 2015 have been released, and among them is a new collection for the acclaimed 1990s The Batman Adventures series. These early details are provided by DC Comics to an assortment of retail and online outlets to plan publishing initiatives for the next twelve months. The Batman Adventures – Volume One, set to replace the original out-of-print trade paperback releases from nearly twenty years ago, will include the first ten issues of the original classic comic series and retail for $19.99US.
The critically acclaimed comic book, which ran for nearly a decade through an assortment of revamps and reboots, featured stories which took place in continuity of Batman: The Animated Series. Continue below for the initial details for this new The Batman Adventures collection.

“Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-ray Now Available From Warner Archive
Starting today, Warner Archive’s new Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray title is now available to own directly from the label’s website and other digital outlets. The two-disc Blu-ray set, priced at $24.95US, features the complete 26-episode run of the fan-beloved animated series. This is the first Blu-ray release for the acclaimed Green Lantern: The Animated Series show, which is also currently available on DVD via retail and online outlets. With stunning, stylized CG animation, Green Lantern: The Animated Series takes viewers on a journey of cosmic proportions as Hal Jordan and his band of heroes fight to save the universe.

DC Comics Provides Details For June 2014 Issue Of “Teen Titans Go!”
DC Comics has officially announced details for the June 2014 issue of Teen Titans Go!, the bi-monthly all-ages comic series from DC Entertainment. The Teen Titans Go! comic book title, based on the Cartoon Network ratings hit of the same name, collects two 10-page stories per issue. Each 10-page story will be initially released monthly through digital outlets, including Comixology and DC Comic, before being published in the print format on a bi-monthly basis. New “Batman And Friends,” “Superman And Friends” DVDs Slated For April 2014
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has recently announced two new budget-priced DVD collections featuring episodes of Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series. Both collections – Batman and Friends and Superman and Friends – feature four episodes, a selection of bonus content, and will retail for $9.97. Batman and Friends and Superman and Friends are both slated to hit shelves on April 1st, 2014. These two titles, which are repackages of previous DVD titles, are part of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s ongoing efforts to provide budget-priced DVD releases featuring some of the most popular characters from the acclaimed studio. New Production Images Released From Upcoming “Son Of Batman” Animated Feature
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment recently released three production images from the upcoming direct-to-video movie Son of Batman, the next installment in the ongoing DC Universe Original Movie line. The animated feature will be released May 6th, 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and for Digital Download. Son of Batman is inspired by the acclaimed Batman comic book storyline “Batman and Son” written by Grant Morrison, wherein Batman discovers he has a son – named Damian – with Talia Al Ghul. Cartoon Network Announces 2014-2015 Programming With “Teen Titans Go!” Returning, “Beware The Batman” Not
Cartoon Network has issued a press release announcing the network’s current 2014-2015 programming plans, including information on new and returning shows. The network has announced a host new programming and digital entertainment initiatives for Cartoon Network, including new comedy series and events. No new animated programming based on DC Comics properties were listed in the press release, though Teen Titans Go! is confirmed to be returning for a second season. Beware The Batman and the DC Nation programming block were not mentioned as returning programs.

New Original and Acquired Programming:
–Over The Garden Wall: Headlined by an all-star voice-cast that includes Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Collin Dean (The War at Home) and Melanie Lynskey (Two and a Half Men), Over the Garden Wall is Cartoon Network’s first event mini-series, an animated comedy/fantasy story about two brothers, Wirt and Greg, who are trapped in a mysterious world. In this ten-part mini-series, Wirt and Greg must travel across this strange land until they find their way home, aided by a wise old Woodsman who gives them directions and a bluebird named Beatrice. Music plays an important role in the series with a soundtrack full of Americana-influenced original songs. Over The Garden Wall is created by Pat McHale and produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
–Clarence: From creator Skyler Page and premiering Monday, April 14 at 7 p.m., Clarence is a new, original animated series about an optimistic boy who wants to do everything. Because everything is amazing! Clarence was conceived as part of the prolific shorts development program at Cartoon Network Studios, which has resulted in six original series for the network: Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe, Clarence, Over the Garden Wall and We Bare Bears.
–We Bare Bears: We Bare Bears is a comedy about three bear siblings, named Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear. Each episode follows their awkward attempts at assimilating into human society, whether they’re looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become internet famous. Whatever the situation, it’s obvious that being a bear in the civilized, modern world is tough—but at least they have each other. Created by Annie Award-winner Daniel Chong (Toy Story of Terror!), We Bare Bears is produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
–The Tom and Jerry Show: The iconic cat and mouse rivals are back in The Tom and Jerry Show, a new, fresh take on the classic series. Preserving the look, characters and sensibility of the original, the all-new series shines a brightly colored, high-definition lens on the madcap slapstick and never-ending battle that has made Tom and Jerry two of the most beloved characters of all time. The Tom and Jerry Show is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and will premiere Wednesday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m.
–Be Cool Scooby-Doo!: Be Cool Scooby-Doo! is an all-new 22-minute animated comedy series from Warner Bros. Animation. The Scooby gang is back with a modern comedic twist on the beloved classic. With high school over and one last summer to live it up, the gang hits the road in the Mystery Machine, chasing fun and adventure. But monsters and mayhem keep getting in the way.
–Wabbit — A Looney Tunes Production: The hilarious, heroic and mischievous Bugs Bunny you love is back! From Warner Bros. Animation, Bugs stars in an all-new series consisting of comedic shorts that find the iconic carrot-loving rabbit matching wits against (and getting the best of) classic characters like Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote. Along the way, Bugs will encounter brand-new foes…and he’ll have some help from new friends like Bigfoot and Squeaks the squirrel.
–LEGO® NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu: Continuing its robust partnership with The LEGO Group, Cartoon Network will re-introduce viewers to the awesome world of NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu with six new half-hour animated specials in 2014, followed by all-new episodes of the highly popular series slated for 2015.
–Sonic Boom™: Sonic the Hedgehog has been one of the world’s biggest gaming icons for over 20 years and this year a new branch of the Sonic universe debuts, entitled Sonic Boom™. With a new look for Sonic and friends, the franchise’s first-ever CG animated television series, an action-packed comedy adventure, will premiere on Cartoon Network with support from an extensive video game release of the same name. The Sonic Boom television series, coproduced by SEGA® of America, Inc. and OuiDO! Productions, will debut on Cartoon Network in the 2014/2015 season.
–Total Drama: Pahkitew Island: All-new island! All-new cast! Same old disregard for human safety! –Numb Chucks: Woodchuck brothers Dilweed and Fungus didn’t always see themselves as mystical Kung Fu saviors until they stumbled upon an infomercial featuring mega legend Woodchuck Morris’ mullet-fueled motivational kung-fu video “The Way of the Chuck!” With an endless supply of confidence but a limited supply of brain cells, and countless hours of watching the video, this dimwitted duo transmorph-ified into THE NUMB CHUCKS!
–Beyraiderz: Sho, Jin and Leon find themselves trapped on a strange world once defended by the Six Mythic Beasts who upheld justice and brought prosperity for all through the battling BeyRaiderz tournaments. When the Beasts mysteriously disappeared, the world fell into ruin, and now it’s up to Sho and his friends to uncover the hidden BeyRaiderz stadiums, to battle to bring the Beasts back and restore prosperity to the world!

After clearing his name, Lee again attempts to sneak out of Barrage’s upgraded detention room, discovering that a strange pyramid under the school has something to do with Lee’s key, the parents council and the blue tazwurms. –Rocket Jo: Rocket Jo is an inventor-adventurer: his unique goal is to get his jet-pack to function and send him flying in the air for good…without effect. But his valiant attempts are always a false dawn to viewers’ great delight, as there always are failures, gags, explosions, falls, etc. Produced by Millimages and 2D3D, Rocket Jo works hard, drawing upon all his imagination, to make viewers laugh, both children and parents.

The second season of Teen Titans Go!, the comedy-adventure series starring the troublesome Teen Titans superteam, is slated to start later this year. Continuing, Beware The Batman debuted July 2013 on Cartoon Network, netting average but consistent ratings for the animation-themed channel before being removed from the network in October 2013. Please note that while Cartoon Network has not listed Beware The Batman as returning to the network for the 2014-2015 season, the network has not yet confirmed the end of the animated show. However, crew for Beware The Batman recently stated the series has finished production and fifteen episodes have yet to be broadcast. Warner Archive Announces “Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-ray
Warner Archive, part of the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment studio, has officially announced the Blu-ray release of Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series. The two-disc Blu-ray set will be available to purchase through the official Warner Archive website, along with some online retail outlets, as of March 18th, 2014 for $29.95. While currently available on DVD, this is the first Blu-ray release for the acclaimed Green Lantern: The Animated Series show. With stunning, stylized CG animation, this fan-beloved series takes viewers on a journey of cosmic proportions as Hal Jordan and his band of heroes fight to save the universe. March 18 Blu-ray Release of Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series
Warner Archive Collection continues to treat fans to Blu-ray™ releases of popular animated television with Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series coming March 18. The complete 26-episode series – on Blu-ray™ to best display the series’ stunning CG artistry – is now available for pre-order via Amazon.

Josh Keaton leads the way as the voice of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, alongside voice-acting stars Kevin Michael Richardson (as Kilowog), Grey DeLisle (as Aya) and Jason Spisak (as Razer). The stellar guest cast includes Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Juliet Landau (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kurtwood Smith (That 70s Show, Resurrection), Phil Morris (Smallville), Brian George (Seinfeld) and many more.

In addition to Blu-ray releases of Beware the Batman and the upcoming Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series, Warner Archive Collection (WAC) has also recently distributed a DVD collection of Marine Boy, Season 2.
