DC Comics Provides Details For “Beware The Batman” And “Teen Titans Go!” February 2014 Issues
DC Comics has officially announced details for the February 2014 issue of Beware The Batman, the new monthly all-ages comic series from DC Entertainment. The comic title is based on the new Cartoon Network animated series of the same name. Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. The comic book will feature rotating artists and writers providing stories based on the continuity of the new DC Nation CG-animated cartoon. Continue below for further details.

Warner Home Video has released the preliminary details for the upcoming Beware The Batman – Season One, Part: Shadows Of Gotham two-disc DVD collection, hitting shelves February 18th, 2014. The DVD collection will feature thirteen episodes from the first season of the new Batman-centric CG-animated series. “Batman: The Brave And The Bold: The Complete First Season” Blu-ray Available Now From Warner Archive
Warner Home Video and Warner Archive have sent out the following promotional images and release advertising the debut of Batman: The Brave and The Bold – The Complete First Season on Blu-ray. The Blu-ray release, from the Warner Archive imprint, will be the first Blu-ray for the acclaimed Cartoon Network animated series. Batman: The Brave and The Bold – The Complete First Season is available through the official Warner Archive website, along with some additional online retail outlets, for $24.95. Extremely popular on Cartoon Network, Batman: The Brave and the Bold teams the Dark Knight with some of DC Comics’ favorite and more eclectic heroes, including the Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, Green Lantern, Kamandi, Doctor Fate, Jonah Hex, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Mister Miracle and The Atom. The combinations create a perfect mesh of fast-paced action and humor.
Batman: The Brave And The Bold is Warner Archive’s first-ever animated release on Blu-ray. This 2-Disc, 26-Episode collection presents the series’ inaugural season in all its crisp and clear 1080p High Definition, as it was meant to be enjoyed.

Warner Archive and The Paley Center for Media, in conjunction with New York Comic Con, hosted a special event celebrating Warner Archive’s Blu-ray release of Batman: The Brave And The Bold on Friday, October 11th, 2013. The popular animated television series was celebrated with an episodic screening and a lively panel discussion featuring Diedrich Bader, the voice of Batman; John DiMaggio, the voice of Aquaman; producer James Tucker; 8-time Emmy Award-winning dialogue director Andrea Romano; Warner Archive podcasters Matt Patterson and DW Ferranti, and moderator Gary Miereanu.

First “Batman: The Brave And The Bold” Blu-Ray Coming Tuesday From Warner Archive

Under the aegis of producer James Tucker, “Batman: The Brave and The Bold bravely challenged modern fan conceptions of The Dark Knight while boldly utilizing the richness of the entire DC Comics universe. “Justice League: War” Arrives February 4th, 2014 On Home Video, Package Artwork
Warner Home Video has announced a February 4th, 2014 release date for Justice League: War, and released the film’s official description and key package artwork. The studio will release the upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie to Blu-ray, DVD, and for Digital Download. Justice League: War is an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics,” written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, which kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52” comic-line initiative. Justice League: War features the formation of the Justice League and the team’s first battle with Darkseid. The official description is as follows:

Animation and DC Entertainment, Justice League: War features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory, Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox).
