“Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths,” “Watchmen” Animated Movies Coming In 2024
Announced during the Justice League: Warworld movie premiere and discussion panel at the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 pop culture convention on July 21, 2023, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment revealed two upcoming animated releases slated for 2024. Both titles are adaptations of classic, top-selling DC Comics story-lines. Teaser images can be found below
The studio announced Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths, an animated adaptation of the classic 1980s Crisis on Infinite Earths DC Comics event, for the DC Universe Movie line and an animated adaptation of acclaimed Watchmen comic series for the DC Animated Movie line. Both titles will be released on physical and digital media by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment in 2024, with more details to follow.

Crisis on Infinite Earths
This is the story that changed the DC Universe forever. A mysterious being known as the Anti-Monitor has begun a crusade across time to bring about the end of all existence. As alternate earths are systematically destroyed, the Monitor quickly assembles a team of super-heroes from across time and space to battle his counterpart and stop the destruction. DC’s greatest heroes including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman, assemble to stop the menace, but as they watch both the Flash and Supergirl die in battle, they begin to wonder if even all of the heroes in the world can stop this destructive force.
Watchmen
The story begins as a murder-mystery and quickly unfolds into a planet-altering conspiracy as these unlikely heroes – Rorschach, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Dr. Manhattan and Ozymandias – must test the limits of their convictions and ask themselves where the true line is between good and evil.

“Harley Quinn” Season Four Trailer, Details Released
Warner Bros. Animation has released a trailer and additional details for the fourth season of the Harley Quinn animated series, set to premiere on the Max streaming service July 27, 2023 with three episodes. Following the extended premiere, a new episode of the acclaimed animated series will drop every Thursday for the duration of the season through September 14. This biting and uproarious adult animated comedy follows Harley Quinn (voiced by executive producer Kaley Cuoco) as she strikes out on her own following her breakup with The Joker (Alan Tudyk). With help from Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) and a ragtag crew of DC castoffs, Harley attempts to work her way into the Legion of Doom, before an identity crisis sends her on a larger quest to find her true place in Gotham City. With appearances by DC’s most notorious characters and featuring a notable voice cast – including Christopher Meloni, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Tony Hale, and others – Harley Quinn showcases the titular antiheroine’s killer journey from girlfriend to leading lady.

Warner Bros. Japan, Wit Studio Announce “Suicide Squad ISEKAI” Original Anime Series
Warner Bros. Japan said production is currently underway on Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an all-new original anime series based on the popular DC Comics characters. Announced during a special panel at the Anime Expo 2023 convention, the studio stated WIT Studio will be handling the animation production for the series. Watch the announcement trailer below.
Additional details announced include that Suicide Squad ISEKAI will be directed by Eri Osada, with screenplays by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara. Continuing, Naoto Hosoda is the main character designer and Kenichirou Suehiro is the music composer. A teaser poster was also released illustrated by Akira Amano, who’s credited with draft character designs for Suicide Squad ISEKAI. The official trailer and key art showcasing Jack Quaid as the voice of Clark Kent, Alice Lee as the voice of Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as the voice of Jimmy Olsen also debuted today [June 5, 2023].
My Adventures with Superman is a serialized coming-of-age story catching up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet. The story follows Clark as he builds his secret identity as Superman and explores his own mysterious origins. Lois, on her way to becoming a star reporter, teams up with photographer Jimmy Olsen to break the stories that matter. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love… as Lois gets closer and closer to uncovering his secret identity! Our trio share adventures, take down bad guys, stumble over secrets, and discover what it means to be heroes in their own right.
Season one will debut with two back-to-back episodes, followed by one new episode every Thursday. Encores of new episodes will air Fridays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim and Saturdays at midnight on Toonami. New episodes will also stream Fridays on Max.
Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) serves as executive producer. Jake Wyatt (Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus) and Brendan Clogher (Voltron: Legendary Defender) are on board as co-executive producers and Josie Campbell (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) as co-producer.

They live again! After a long slumber, Gargoyles – the critically-acclaimed 1990s animated series from Walt Disney Animation – has roared back to life, thanks in part to the current ongoing monthly series from Dynamite Comics. Launched in December 2022, written by Gargoyles co-creator Greg Weisman and featuring electric artwork by George Kambadais, the series continues the canon adventures of the Manhattan Clan, taking them to places fans have only dreamt of.
Now, Gargoyles is set to both kick-off the second half of its opening 12-issue “Here in Manhattan” arc – offering a great entry point for new readers – and launch a six-issue spin-off series, Gargoyles: Dark Ages!
