New Image Released From Upcoming “Justice League: War” Animated Feature
Warner Home Video has released a new image from the upcoming direct-to-video Justice League: War animated feature. Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Cyborg and Shazam are featured in the recently released content. Hitting shelves February 4th, 2014 courtesy of Warner Home Video, Justice League: War is an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics. Written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, the storyline kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52” comic-line initiative. The Hub Removes “Batman: The Animated Series,” Keeps “Superman: The Animated Series,” Returns “Batman Beyond”
The Hub network has announced a few changes to the channel’s daily schedule, including the removal of the classic Batman: The Animated Series from the weekday line-up. Starting Monday, December 2nd, 2013, the weekday 8:00am (ET) airings of Batman: The Animated Series will be replaced with repeats of Transformers Animated. The network has not confirmed at this time if this is a temporary or permanent removal of the series from the schedule. Batman: The Animated Series has been a part of the The Hub line-up since September 2011.
Additionally, Superman: The Animated Series will move to a new timeslot, now airing weekdays at 10:00am (ET). Batman Beyond is also returning to The Hub after a brief hiatus. The show will be paired with Superman: The Animated Series, airing weekdays at 9:30am (ET).
The network is expected to announce further possible schedule changes, with episode specific details, in the coming days.
The Hub Network, a multi-platform joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., features original programming as well as content from Discovery’s library of children’s educational programming; from Hasbro’s portfolio of entertainment and educational properties built during the past 90 years; and from leading third-party producers worldwide. The Hub lineup includes animated and live-action series, specials and game shows, with the network extending its content through a robust and engaging online presence. The Hub launched on Sunday, October 10th, 2010, reaching approximately 60 million U.S. households.

New Issue Of “Beware The Batman” Comic Now Available From DC Entertainment
The second issue of the new monthly Beware The Batman comic title, from publisher DC Comics and DC Entertainment, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. The new comic title is inspired by the Cartoon Network animated series of the same name. A downloadable digital version of the comic will also be available through digital outlets including ComiXology and the DC Comics website. Matthew K. Manning is the author for Beware The Batman #2, with Dario Brizuela providing the art.
The Beware The Batman comic title, with a rotating creative team, features stories taking place in continuity with the animated series’ source material. A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form.
