Warner Home Video has released the cover art and initial details for Batman: The Brave and The Bold Volume One, Part Two, a new two-disc collection featuring 13 more episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold. The new collection is set to hit shelves March 15th, 2011, with information made available by Warner Home Video. A full press release is expected to be released within the coming weeks. When an alien race tries to invade Earth, Batman, Plastic Man and the Freedom Fighters (led by the Uncle Sam) race to their planet to stop them. The alien’s numbers prove overwhelming and it falls on Plastic Man to find the patriotism within to stop them.

A glimpse into the future reveals Dick Grayson has assumed the Batman mantle after the Caped Crusader retired and fathered a son, Damian, with Catwoman. Despite his parents’ wishes, Damian does not want to follow their legacy, but when Joker returns, he may have no choice!

Boomerang Schedules Halloween-Themed Episode Of “The Batman” Series
The specialty network Boomerang, a spin-off channel of Cartoon Network, is scheduled to air a similarly-themed episode of The Batman during the network’s block of Halloween-based programming on Sunday, October 31st, 2010. Episode-specific details for the second season debut of Batman: The Brave and The Bold have been released by Teletoon. The Canadian network is scheduled to debut the second season of Batman: The Brave and The Bold on Friday, November 5th, 2010 at 7pm (ET) with the episode “The Long Arm of the Law.” The logline for the episode is as follows below, courtesy of Warner Bros.
