Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially released the trailer for the upcoming Batman: Assault on Arkham, the next installment in the ongoing DC Universe Animated Original Movie line. The animated feature – set for release come Summer 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and for Digital Download – features a new story based on the popular Batman: Arkham video game series. In Batman: Assault on Arkham, the Suicide Squad is tasked with breaking into Arkham Aslyum to stop The Joker, with Batman working the same case.

New Video Clip Released For Upcoming “Son Of Batman” Animated Feature
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the new video clip from the upcoming direct-to-video animated movie Son of Batman. The new clip spotlights Damian Wayne. The 20th installment of the ongoing DC Universe Original Movie line will arrive Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and for Digital Download. Son of Batman is inspired by the acclaimed Batman comic book storyline “Batman and Son” written by Grant Morrison, wherein Batman discovers he has a son – named Damian – with Talia Al Ghul.

Media For Next Week’s New “Teen Titans Go!” Episode And “DC Nation” Short
Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with stills and a clip from the new Teen Titans Go! episode “Grandma Voice,” airing Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 at 6:30pm (ET/PT). The half-hour comedy/adventure series – which features two 15-minute episodes – airs Wednesdays at 6:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing at select times during the week. The new Teen Titans Go! segment “Grandma Voice” will be paired with a re-airing of a previously-aired 15-minute episode. Please note the new earlier Wednesday timeslot.

Latest Issue Of “Teen Titans Go!” Series Now Available From DC Comics
The latest issue of the bi-monthly Teen Titans Go! comic title, from publisher DC Comics and DC Entertainment, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. Teen Titans Go! #3, inspired by the popular Cartoon Network animated comedy/adventures series of the same name, collects two new 10-page stories. Each 10-page story is initially released monthly exclusively through digital outlets, including the DC Comics’ online store and Comixology, before being published for print every two months.

DC Nation “Batman Beyond” Animated Short Availability Goes Wide
The “Batman 75” DC Nation animated short “Batman Beyond,” which debuted over the weekend at the WonderCon 2014 comic convention, is now available wide for all online outlets. The special animated short was created as part of DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Comics’ combined celebration efforts to mark the 75th anniversary of Batman’s first appearance in the 1939 comic Detective Comics #27.
The nearly 90-second short-form adventure revisits the world of the classic Batman Beyond animated series, bringing together members of the original show’s cast and crew. The “Batman Beyond” animated short was written and directed by Darwyn Cooke; starring the voices of Will Friedle and Kevin Conroy; featuring music by Kristopher Carter, Mike McCuistion & Lolita Ritmanis; with additional guitar work by Gabe Moses. Batman Beyond follows the adventures of a young Batman in the future mentored by an aging Bruce Wayne.

Son of Batman will have its World Premiere as the featured event at WonderCon on Friday, April 18th, 2014 in the Arena starting at 6:00pm local time. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has provided the following details for the premiere event.
Son of Batman, the 20th DC Universe Animated Original Movie, will have its World Premiere as the featured event at WonderCon on Friday, April 18 in the Arena starting at 6:00pm. The premiere will be followed by a panel discussion amongst voice cast and filmmakers, including several members of the stellar voice cast — Jason O’Mara (Batman), Sean Maher (Nightwing), Xander Berkeley (Langstrom), Stuart Allan (Damian) — and filmmakers James Tucker (producer), Ethan Spaulding (director), Phil Bourassa (character designer) and Andrea Romano (dialogue director).
Son of Batman activities at WonderCon include an hour-long autograph session for fans on Friday, April 18th from 3:30-4:30pm in the DC Entertainment booth. All members of the panel are expected to be present for the signing, which will include an exclusive-to-WonderCon Son of Batman mini-poster. As the Friday night premiere of DCU films traditionally sells out, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will give fans an additional opportunity to see the film with an encore screening of Son of Batman on Sunday, April 20 at 1:15pm in the Arena.

“Beware The Batman” Joins Toonami Line-Up Starting Saturday, May 10th, 2014
A representative for Cartoon Network has confirmed that Beware The Batman will return as part of the weekly Toonami programming block starting May 2014. Toonami airs as part of the Adult Swim network, which shares the same channel and an assortment of co-productions with Cartoon Network. The CG-animated series is set to debut on the popular fan-favorite block on Saturday May 10th, 2014 at 3:00am (ET/PT). It will take the place of Ghost in the Shell on the schedule.

According to a social media representative for Cartoon Network, all 26 episodes of Beware The Batman will be aired on Toonami. The show will retain its TV-PG rating.
The CG-animated series incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. Beware The Batman stars Anthony Ruivivar (Banshee) as Batman/Bruce Wayne, JB Blanc (The Count of Monte Cristo) as Alfred, Sumalee Montano (ER) as Katana, and Kurtwood Smith (Robocop) as Lieutenant James Gordon.

Loglines For Currently Unaired Episodes Of “Beware The Batman”
The World’s Finest has obtained loglines for currently un-aired episodes of Beware The Batman, including the last thirteen episodes of the show’s initial 26-episode order. The CG-animated series was removed from Cartoon Network back in October 2013 after airing only eleven episodes, and there are currently no concise plans for the show’s return. Despite repeated inquiries, Cartoon Network has still not provided any details for Beware The Batman‘s removal from the schedule or if the remaining un-aired episodes will see broadcast.

When Batman and Katana are ambushed in the Gotham subway by Killer Croc, it’s up to Barbara Gordon to save them. Only one problem: Barbara’s on a date.

When Bruce Wayne is “assassinated” by Batman, he lets the world think he’s dead and goes in search of the imposter – the Bad Batman.

Batman continues to work in secret to find answers, while Harvey Dent recovers in Gotham Hospital. Blaming Batman for everything, he enacts martial law in Gotham.
