Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released new clips from the DC Universe Movie title Superman: Red Son, spotlighting Superman, Lex Luthor and Lois Lane. The next highly-anticipated installment of the DC Universe Movie line will hit digital media on February 25, 2020 and physical media on March 17, 2020. Superman: Red Son finds, after escaping the destruction of his home planet Krypton, young Kal-El’s spaceship lands not in Smallville, but in Russia. Continue below to view the clips.

“Tim Drake is still a very young Robin,” added Ty Templeton of the timing of the series. “Batman isn’t middle-aged or anything, and we’re not even close to the events of Batman Beyond.”
“What is different, however, is that we’re going back to cover certain gaps in the original series, events that didn’t have a bearing on the series at the time, but now do,” continued Alan Burnett. “In other words, there will be secret histories that will turn Batman’s world upside down. Things that no one knew were out there, until now.”
“Perhaps the most intriguing character in the run will be young man whose story threads through most of the issues,” teased Burnett. “He’s a smart, super-elusive loner who knows way too much about the Dark Knight. How this mystery man fits into the world of Batman Adventures and what he means to accomplish should, I hope, be a real jolt for old fans.”

Home Entertainment proudly presents the World Premiere of Superman: Red Son, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Movies, in the Silver Screen Theater at The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on February 24, 2020. Filmmakers and members of the voice cast will attend the event for red carpet media interviews and a post-screening panel discussion.
The Pacific Design Center is located at 8687 Melrose Ave in West Hollywood. The screening will begin at 7:00 pm.
A limited number of free tickets are available to the general public.

“Aquaman: King of Atlantis” Animated Mini-Series Coming To HBO Max
HBO Max, the upcoming streaming service from WarnerMedia, said an animated series based on the iconic DC Comics super hero is in production. The three-part series will be executive produced by James Wan, the director behind the 2018 Aquaman live-action theatrical feature, with each standalone episode following the adventures of Aquaman as protector of the deep. HBO Max announced today at the WarnerMedia Television Critics Association (TCA) day, a greenlight for a three-part animated mini-series Aquaman: King of Atlantis that will be executive produced by James Wan (Aquaman and the upcoming Malignant) through his Atomic Monster production company. Based on the classic DC character created by Mort Weisinger and Paul Norris, each of the standalone episodes will have a unique storyline following the adventures of Aquaman as protector of the deep. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series begins with Aquaman’s first day on the job as king of Atlantis and he’s got a LOT of catching up to do. Luckily, he has his two royal advisors to back him up – Vulko, the scholar, and Mera, the water controlling warrior-princess. Between dealing with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman is going to have to rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects, and to himself, that he’s the right man for the trident!
The series is executive produced by James Wan, Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear (Annabelle Comes Home), Rob Hackett (Swamp Thing) and Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!). Victor Courtright (ThunderCats Roar!) and Marly Halpern-Graser (Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) will serve as showrunners and co-executive producers.

New “Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons” Trailer Released, Debuts January 6, 2020 on CW Seed
Blue Ribbon Content and CW Seed announced the first half of its Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons animated limited series, labelled as “Season One,” will debut January 6, 2020 on The CW’s streaming service. A new promotional trailer for the series was also released. The mature-rated drama finds Deathstroke, voiced by Michael Chiklis, coming under threat by the villainous H.I.V.E. organization. Briefly, Warner Archive’s Blu-ray release of Young Justice: Outsiders – The Complete Third Season is simply excellent, offering up the best presentation available for the new season of Young Justice, and including some genuinely interesting bonus content. In fact, this might very well be Warner Archive’s best Young Justice release date. For Teen Titans: The Complete Series, not only is the entire animated series presented in stylish HD available on Blu-ray, but the set also ports they key bonus content from the original DVD releases.
