The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie will hit Digital HD on August 15th, 2017, followed by an Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD release on August 29th, 2017. The Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in 4K with HDR and a Blu-ray disc featuring the film; the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the film in hi-definition; and the DVD features the movie in standard definition. The Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Combo Pack include a digital version of the film.
In Batman and Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (a.k.a. The Floronic Man) embark on an ecological quest to save the planet – and, unfortunately, eliminate most of humankind along the way. To save humanity, Batman and Nightwing are forced to enlist Harley Quinn to catch Poison Ivy, Harley’s BFF and frequent partner-in-crime. But Batman’s patience is put to the test by the unpredictable and untrustworthy Harley during the twists and turns the reluctant companions face during their bumpy road trip. The result is a thrill ride of action, adventure and comedy no Batman fan has seen before.
The latest DC animated film features a stellar voice cast led by Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) reprising his role as the Dark Knight, alongside Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) making her debut as the irrepressible Harley Quinn. Loren Lester, the voice of Robin in Batman: The Animated Series, returns as Nightwing. Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) and Kevin Michael Richardson (The Cleveland Show) provide the voices of the villainous duo Poison Ivy & Jason Woodrue, respectively.

“DC Super Hero Girls” Animated Series Coming 2018 To Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network has announced a DC Super Hero Girls animated series, based on the popular global initiative, will debut on the network in 2018. The series will be spearheaded by producer Lauren Faust, known for her work on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Super Best Friends. DC Super Hero Girls is Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment’s massive initiative to provide special content and products specifically aimed for young girls. Production has begun on DC Super Hero Girls, an all-new animated action-comedy series from Warner Bros. Animation and based on characters from DC Entertainment. “Young Justice: Outsiders” To Debut 2018 On DC Digital Service
The third season of the acclaimed Young Justice will be a corner stone for DC Entertainment’s upcoming DC Comics-branded digital service, which will debut in 2018. The Young Justice: Outsiders revival will be paired with the live-action Titans series as anchors for the new service. Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment today announced that executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are teaming up for the all-new live-action drama series Titans, which will debut in 2018. Additionally, Warner Bros. Animation’s Young Justice: Outsiders the highly anticipated third season of the popular Young Justice series, is also ramping up for its first mission next year.
Both fan-driven series are in early stages of production and will air exclusively on a DC-branded direct-to-consumer digital service in 2018. Operated by Warner Bros. Digital Networks Group, the new digital service will deliver an immersive experience designed just for DC fans.
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
Titans will be written by Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery, Underground), Geoff Johns (President & Chief Creative Officer, DC Entertainment; The Flash, Arrow) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl). Goldsman, Johns, Berlanti and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl) are executive producers of the series from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy. Equally praised by critics and viewers for its impressive visuals and rich storytelling, Young Justice reached more than 25 million unique viewers in each of its two seasons on Cartoon Network. This passionate fan support set the stage for the new third season.
Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!, Justice League Action) is executive producer of Young Justice. Brandon Vietti (Batman: Under the Red Hood, Superman Doomsday) and Greg Weisman (Star Wars Rebels, Gargoyles) are producers of the series, produced by Warner Bros. Animation. A specific release date has not yet been announced, for both the digital service and Young Justice: Outsiders, but details will roll out throughout 2017, leading up to the 2018 debut. The DC-branded platform is expected to offer more than a traditional OTT service, and aims to offer an immersive experience with fan interaction and will encompass comics as well as TV series. “Static Shock: The Complete Second Season” DVD Collection Coming May 23, 2017
Warner Archive will release Static Shock: The Complete Second Season to DVD come May 2017. The two-disc DVD brings the second season of Static Shock to home video for the first time. Static Shock follows the adventures of teenager Virgil Hawkins as he fights to keep Dakota City safe while juggling responsibilities at home, at school and with friends.
Static Shock: The Complete Second Season is available to order from Warner Archive starting May 23, 2017 through the Warner Archive website, WB Shop and select digital outlets. Warner Archive recently released the first season of the acclaimed animated series to DVD in March. The film features Will Arnett who reprises his starring role from The LEGO Movie, as the voice of Lego Batman, aka Bruce Wayne.
The film also featuresZach Galifianakis (the Hangover films, Muppets Most Wanted) starring as The Joker; Michael Cera (TV’s Arrested Development) as the orphan Dick Grayson; Rosario Dawson (TV’s Daredevil) as Barbara Gordon; and Ralph Fiennes (the Harry Potter films) as Alfred.
The Lego Batman Movie is directed by Chris McKay, and produced by Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Roy Lee, who worked together on The Lego Movie. Jill Wilfert, Matthew Ashton, Will Allegra and Brad Lewis serve as executive producers. The story by Seth Grahame-Smith is based on LEGO Construction Toys characters from DC and the screenplay is written by Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Jared Stern and John Whittington.
The Lego Batman Movie will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack for $43.99, Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack for $43.99, Blu-ray Combo Pack for $39.99 and 2-disc DVD Special Edition for $31.98. The Ultra HD Blu-ray features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the film in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc of the film in high definition, and a digital version of the film in Digital HD with UltraViolet*. The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack features the theatrical version of the film in 3D hi-definition, hi-definition and standard definition; the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the theatrical version of the film in hi-definition on Blu-ray; and the DVD features the theatrical version in standard definition. All versions include a digital version of the movie in Digital HD with UltraViolet.* Fans can also own The Lego Batman Movie via purchase from digital retailers beginning May 19.
Additionally, all of the special features, including interviews with filmmakers, new original shorts, featurettes, deleted scenes and 360° videos, can be experienced in an entirely new, dynamic and immersive manner on tablets and mobile phones using the Warner Bros. Movies All Access App, available for both iOS and Android devices. When purchased digitally and redeemed on UltraViolet, the Warner Bros. Movies All Access App allows users to watch the movie and simultaneously experience synchronized content related to any scene, simply by rotating their device. Synchronized content is presented on the same screen while the movie is playing, thus enabling users to quickly learn more about any scene, such as actor biographies, scene locations, fun trivia, or image galleries. The Blu-ray discs of The Lego Batman Movie will feature a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. To experience Dolby Atmos at home, a Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver and additional speakers are required, or a Dolby Atmos enabled sound bar; however, Dolby Atmos soundtracks are also fully backward compatible with traditional audio configurations and legacy home entertainment equipment.
SYNOPSIS
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The Lego Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham City, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
