Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has provided The World’s Finest with two new images from the upcoming direct-to-video animated movie Son of Batman featuring Batman, Talia Al Ghul, and Deathstroke. The next installment of the ongoing DC Universe Original Movie line will hit shelves May 6th, 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and for Digital Download. Son of Batman is inspired by the acclaimed Batman comic book storyline “Batman and Son” written by Grant Morrison, wherein Batman discovers he has a son – named Damian – with Talia Al Ghul. Son of Batman is directed by Ethan Spaulding, from a screenplay by Joe R. Lansdale adapting a story by James Robinson. The voice cast for Son of Batman features Jason O’Mara as Batman/Bruce Wayne; Stuart Allan as Damian; Morena Baccarin as Talia Al Ghul; Giancarlo Esposito as Ra’s Al Ghul; David McCallum as Alfred Pennyworth; Xander Berkeley as Kirk Langstrom; and Thomas Gibson as Deathstroke. As previously mentioned, this animated feature is based off the Grant Morrison “Batman and Son” comic book storyline.

“Batman: Strange Days” Animated Short Availability Goes Wide
The “Batman 75” animated short “Batman: Strange Days,” which debuted earlier this week on Cartoon Network, is now available wide for all online outlets. “Batman: Strange Days” was storyboarded, written, produced, and directed by renowned animator Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, DC Universe Animated Original Movie titles). The nearly three-minute short-form adventure provides an animated look at the original 1930s-era Batman. “Batman: Strange Days” was created under the DC Nation animated shorts banner to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Batman’s first appearance in the 1939 comic Detective Comics #27.

Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with stills and a clip from the new Teen Titans Go! episode “Mas y Menos,” airing Wednesday, April 16th, 2014 at 6:30pm (ET/PT). The half-hour comedy/adventure series – which features two 15-minute episodes – airs Wednesdays at 6:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing at select times during the week. New Preview Images For Upcoming “Batman: The Animated Series” Figures From DC Collectibles
DC Collectibles has provided preview images for two figures from the upcoming Batman: The Animated Series 2014 line set for release by the collectable division of DC Comics. The preview images below provide a closer look at the sculpts used for the Mr. Freeze and Two-Face figures, both of which are slated to hit shelves later this year. DC Collectibles announced the release of a new line of action figures based on the highly influential Batman: The Animated Series cartoon earlier this year, part of DC Entertainment’s ongoing “Batman 75” anniversary celebrations. The DC Collectible Batman: The Animated Series line will feature a selection of figures based directly from the character designs of the famed animated series, including Batman and his allies and enemies.

The DC Collectibles team is using the actual original character design sheets used by the Batman: The Animated Series creative team to ensure the figures are as accurate as possible. All of the figures are in the 1/12th or 6-inch scale and will be accurately scaled in relation to Batman.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the preliminary details for the upcoming Teen Titans Go! – Season One, Part Two: Couch Crusaders two-disc DVD collection, hitting shelves July 29th, 2014. The DVD collection will feature 26 11-minute episodes from the first season of the new animated comedy series. Animation and Cartoon Network have provided a first look at the upcoming all-new DC Nation animated short “Batman: Strange Days,” set to debut on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 after an all-new episode of Teen Titans Go!.
